They didn't even bother to change the design of the phone Nokia 3-8 all look the same, how can you
name this a flagship, its just a nokia 5 with a bigger body and screen. The Bezels don't bother me, Sony stuck with their bezels, and I respect them for that...
I see Nokia doing the same thing but still using the same design over and over... probably worse off
that apple, and this is supposed to be a "Flagship" aside from the specs and size, nothing sets it apart from the rest zzz

Bezels from Hell!
Better buy from established companies. This, fake, Nokia only now is learning the ropes. They may become a good company, but like most chinsese companies ... probably not.

Of course not, for know your Zeiss optic is just another past name like Nokia, it doesn't mean it will be best, Nokia is not the same as before, it is technically HMD they just use Nokia name, wake up it is not 2005 anymore

This cost 599€ there is big difference in there!
If you want to get expensive Nokia... wait Nokia9 it will be very near Samsung 8 in most ways except it has allmost pure Android.
So this is "cheap" highend phone. And if Samsung8 will ever go down to 600€ so this can go 450 if the relative price difference remains the same. We all know that phone prices goes down when the phone is old, except not the iPhones.

Btw no word on their site for mics number and their tech, but head to head test with U11 and 950XL would be great. To see limits of what can a phone record, not just lame videos, but quiet nature, storm, rock concert, underwater,...

Features like heart rate sensor, 4K selfie, 3D audio, zeiss, big memory,... its like getting majority of your wishlist. Majority may go crazy but not top brand's users as its style is too ordinary, no tele/big sensor/aperture, non hdr screen, it's missing original features... It is like XZ without Premium, flagship killer but not flagship, S7 but not edge, iphone7s but not 8. It started with 3310 not being too crazy, and ended with office phone. Expected more of Nokia.

Can I experience spatial audio in my regular stereo speaker? I hope its only the way how it is recorded by an array of microphones on the device.

I'd place this as the same level as the OP5. The OP5 has OLED screen but no storage expansion. Yet, I don't like both due to small camera sensors which is poor for low light and poor dynamic range in good light.

This will be a real game changer for content creators like us. i only wish it had a slightly larger screen. Hope there will be a Nokia 8 plus in the near future.

1. camera carl zeiss original they use plus have second rear cam will have monochrome sensor which other don't have
2. the very nice ozo audio
3. quality and durability
4. and performance
5. the metal very elegant .
I use now iphone and galaxy but still nokia is the best

it sounds promising tho....but its pretty damn expensive you know. The 5.3'' pretty small for me, 5.5'' would be on point.

Biggest N8 deal breakers for me (but still NOKIA fan):
* No dedicated camera button - if it is better camera phone (Zeiss?)
* No legendary Lumia camera app on board with all tweaking possibilities
* No wireless charging - i have wireless charging build-in my car by factory!!!
* No OLED
* 5,3" screen is not enough 6'' is minimum

If competitors will drop prices, Nokia 8 in deep trouble, it is definitely not even close to top dogs, main concern no amoled and camera is really unimpressive 1.12 micronm and f/2.0 aperture, plus very generic look. People will buy because is Nokia, but there is loads of alternative from Chinese top brands for lower price with same package deal, plus v30 and note 8 is coming, or Mate 10, and if s8 price will go down closer to 600 euros, Nokia 8 does not have chance
