[deleted post]I'm still using lg g4. It was bootlooped, but they fixed it quick enough. Bad, but that's not issue for me. But tell us, lg fans, or wirkers who advertising here this lg crap - what about updated, fixing bugs and update ui? People don't receive anythig, doesn't matter year of phone production. G5, v20 - all users claim they don't have any updates. Security patches? Lg promiced, but never did. UI update? Buy new phone. Fix annoying bugs in contacts, music player, backlight or other? You will NEVER receive any fix. Just because this is LG.

The problem is: users wanting a reliable, robust gadget are sadly a minority.

Even here, there are many users indicating that a "cool look" is the only thing they want.

My perfect phone would have: removable battery, non-curved screen with protecting edge, matte surface (anti-fingerprint) and a manufacturer with 5 years of guaranteed updates.

Having said that I wld have preferred LG to stick to their LCDs considering they make the best LCDs in the market.

Bootloop was caused by design flaw and using cheap soldering that desoldered itself. In other words, poor build quality and manufacturing process of LG phones. It's nothing to do with removable battery. According to you, in the past 15 years all phones with removable battery had bootloop after 1 year. Another fact that makes your comment ridiculous is that Nexus 5X with non-removable battery and manufactured by LG had the same bootloop issue.

I've already described them in my previous comment. The 2.5D glass is a curved glass with all it's disadvantages. Even if it's curve is smaller than the Samsung's, it's still a curve. And it's totally useless. The OLED screen is another disadvantage of V30, because OLED means burn-in. Surprisingly the SD835 has almost the same single core performance as SD820. This means there is no real imporvement in SD835. The 6GB RAM doesn't add much value. You have just proved your incompetence in the subject.

[deleted post]Even though you can see that behind the light is side bezel, I understand the front, but for the back, you're absolutely wrong. It has a round dual camera, an oval shaped flash/laser AF combo, and an actually practical fingerprint scanner placement. Last time I checked, the S8+ had the single rounded square camera with the heart rate sensor/flash combo on the left and the stupid fingerprint scanner placement on the right. They don't look similar, even the colors are different.

They've since sealed off the components, allowing them to connect them more securely, without having to make space for a removable battery compartment.

Just because it doesn't have all of that it's useless and ugly? That makes absolutely no sense. It has a much better looking design than the V20, it has a better cameras ( the V30 has been confirmed to have a 16mp f/1.6 OIS normal camera, 13mp wide angle camera, and 8mp front camera), that edge screen you're talking about is only 2.5D glass meaning, while it may be more fragile from the side( though not really as it still has a pretty substantial metal frame as opposed to the S8's really small side frame), it won't be prone to accidental touched and screen distortion, as the screen itself is flat. The screen is also OLED, meaning perfect blacks, higher contrast ratios, and better battery efficiency than the V20. Not only that, but it has the new SD835, which is 25% more efficient than the 821 that the V20 doesn't even have, let alone more powerful. It has 6GBs of RAM as opposed to the V20, a HD haptic engine, glass camera lens, a bigger screen, and even more advanced Camera software. You're not a very smart person, just stay off the internet.

                                        • 17 Aug 2017

It's another fugly and useless phone. It has non-removable battery, no IR blaster, probably no FM Radio, smaller camera sensor and lower resolution without any benefit (it has the same pixel size) it's probably the same camera as in G6. It has glass back, no bezels (more fragile phone, accidental touch of the screen edges), useless curved screen (that distorts the content, glares the environmental light, makes the phone more fragile, more expensive to repair the screen, screen protectors won't cover the entire screen) and curved edges (both front and back), curved corners of the screen, non-standard screen resolution/aspect ratio.

These are the reasons why LG V20 is much better than V30. And despite V20 is better, it is much cheaper.

The only advantage of V30 is that the camera glass area is smaller, which means it is less likely to crack than V20's camera glass.
