SD 820 and 821 could easily run this set up just like it did last year. But yes the 2GHZ clock rules them out unless this is a new downclocked version which is highly unlikely.

AnonD-692708, 18 Aug 2017What is the problem about that? Can you explain to me? Beca... moreThere is no processor atm that is quad core with a 2ghz clock. Infact the only recent quad core processor was the SD820/821 but they were clocked higher at 2.2/2.4 GHz respectively.
So either the benchmark read a potential octa core cluster wrong or it's a new porcessor that hasn't been leaked yet.

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2017820/821 uses 2+2 setup, not a true Quad-Core.The term "quad-core" doesn't say anything about clusters nor does the article say anything about a "true" quad-core. Or would you call a S820 a double dual-core?
I still think S820/S821 the best possible SoC.

4 years ago the Snapdragon 600 provided 1.9 GHz and was a Quad-core chip. It was on the Galaxy S4 and others.
It's more likely to be the Snapdragon 653 which is a 2 GHz (1.95 GHz technically) Octa-core processor, meaning it has twice the number of processing cores as the Quad-core processors. The higher the "GHz number" the higher the 'clock speed' of the processor, which is basically how fast the processor can run or "how many instructions can be performed in the shortest amount of time".
The performance of this phone will be ABYSMAL by today's standards IF it does contain that chip.
And given the other specs:
- 5.5-inch display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution. (Same as the HTC U11 and the Google Pixel XL)
- 4GB of RAM
- 64GB ROM (internal memory you're allowed to save stuff on).
- 20MP rear camera (very high MP count by today's standards but not necessarily a better performer)
- 8MP front shooter (same as the Galaxy S8, better than the iPhone 7...supposedly)
- 3,140mAh battery (above average)
- There's also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
...there's almost ZERO POSSIBILITY that it will have a Quad-core chip.
P.S. I'm pretty sure QHD displays REQUIRE more powerful chips to actually be able to run or something like that(???)...somebody else needs to answer that because idk how it works.

2ghz Quad core? That can't be right...
