Hmd designs Nokia phones under the name of Nokia, foxcon only manufacture the end product. Nokia has a lot of it's hands inside of this devices, ozo audio and carl zeiss are just a small amount of what Nokia is. So what this guys worked at Nokia when Nokia was dragged down buy ignorants and greedy companies? Have you never made a mistake? Let me guess, you are superman also.... Insane price? Shit upan, you have no idea what you are talking about. 579 € for this hardware and software support, is actually very cheap considering samesung frapple and Sony. Do not even dare to compare Nokia to boat made devices. When Nokia invested millions in research your gropo, mopo, dopos were counterfeiting iphones. Now they are copying iphones and their still no innovations to be seen. So try trolling somewhere else, where your un-knowledge goes unobserved, people are kind of tired of this ignorants.

I do not know if kids this days know a techno dance rock band by the name of "the Prodigy". Their dj. Stopped putting music out so to stop being copied. Funny but true, he made it, he really achieved what he wanted. Copycats had their resources cut out and went for other music styles or gone broke. The Prodigy it is still their and dj's creations still kick a**. The story sounds a lot like Nokia today. When they stoped putting out innovation, it stopped for the whole world! Nothing is to be seen but curved screens and cheap boat-made devices. Oh, and bombnote7.

Well done Nokia, it's been a while, I think Nokia should have done this many many years ago, a bit late to the party but I reckon this will be a decent device, don't worry about bezelless, it's really not necessary.
Already got the Oneplus 5 but this looks like it could be a gem, pure android, SD 835, nice.

HMD consist of worst Nokia employees who drived original Nokia to fail. In fact 8 has absolutely nothing to justify it's insane price. Absolutely nothing. So tell us, defenders of fake brand - what making this average Chinese phone so expensive and attractive? Remove Nokia brand and it will be the same as Doogee, Gionee and others cheap Chinese brands.

Company like IPhone is still making most revenue only because of the user experience they provide. Samsung comes with bloated software and after few months of usage it feels slow. On top of that no timely update is also consideration for other people when they choose phone. If Nokia can provide those with decent camera, they have better chance to survive.

If we were talking midrangers,than yeah 100€ matters and a lot.But in this case we talk flagships,and honestly if anyone is ready to trow 600€ for a phone than 100€ hardly would be a problem.Take into account that many people would by on contract were difference is even less obvious.....
And at the end of the day,fact remains that Nokia8 simply doesnt offer anything compeling nor design wise nor feature wise to make people jump the ship.
