            When I hear Xiaomi, I only remember two things:

            1. great build quality + rich feature set + low price = best bang-for-the-buck
            2. at least 4,000mAh battery

            So since the 2nd rule doesn't apply, its a no go for me here.

Samsung J's don't have CG glass and their prices are much higher than mi or Redmi... you will complain even if there is CG glass cause u can see the negative version of people or device.
                Redmi or Xiaomi are the most handset justifiable with the cost of the device...

                  The Redmi Note 5A come with Snapdragon 435, I believe in future Redmi series would get Snapdragon 2xx series. Xiaomi are downgrading the chipset of its new phone and I doubt the proper Redmi Note 5 will get Snapdragon 660 the best it can get is Snapdragon 630. SD660 I believe will go to Mi series because this is a premium chipset even its not belong to flagship chipset.

                            Actually there's 2 separate models, https://www.mi.com/redminote5a/ and https://www.mi.com/redminote5as/ even if they're both called "Redmi Note 5A"
                            The one described in the news is the latter, except for the pricing, where the "basemodel" is the former (with no 16MP selfiecam and weaker Snapdragon 425 SoC)

                              Whereas all Redmi (number) phones (Redmi 2, 3S, 4X etc) have been 4.7"-5" phones. So it would make sense that a 5.5" phone would be called Redmi NOTE 5A.

                              Redmi does not always use 4XX processor and 720P display. Redmi Note 2-4 are 1080p with Mediatek or SD6XX processors. It does not apply to the smaller Redmi series either. 5" Redmi 4 Prime - SD625 1080p. 5" Redmi 3 - SD616.

                                  hope note 5 comes with all note 4 specs; a bit better and more importantly better camera with some stabilizer for better pics... of course we see the trend reversing as more companies are coming out dual sim with dedicated SD slots ... so hopefully on note 5 ...

                                      They are yet to release the proper Redmi note 5 and note 5 pro.

                                        Now we wait for the Redmi note 5 SD630 with 14nm, Aqstic, new cam and 4100 mAh... wait its 3750 mAh now.
                                        Too bad really, unless the price start at $250, i gonna buy it (If its $250 i prefer buying Mi5 which at $250). I really wish its still 4100mAh.
