I say "why not" to 3D technology.
I'm a big fan of newest technologies and I hope more manufactuers release "3D glasses free" devices in the future.
So they perfection it and we will have more choice on the market.

oops... I heard Optimus 3D comes with dual core, duel channel & dual memory. If it is true, how great is LG Optimus 3D.
I am looking to get one, anyone tell me where is this phone available in Cambodia.

Fongy, 26 May 2011I'd view this one with caution... Early previews have said... moreis there a link to these reviews that say the screen isn't very bright please? I can only find reviews that seem to like the screen, and the Optimus 3D's performance.... Thanks

The Optimus 2X has a very good camera as well, the screen is near the top in terms of performance as it uses IPS. However if you're thinking hardware wise the Galaxy S II is not the best if you're looking at GPU performance. It is true that it scores high in benchmarks, however this is due to the fact that it runs on Android 2.3 kernel which has GPU optimization when compared to Android 2.2, in the end though it's up to user preference as it is their money. I may or may not get it. I was definitely looking at Samsung's Hercules. I can not stand lightweight phones, my hands are big, so lightweight phones actually feel uncomfortable to me.

One thing is i am not ready for 3d and thats certain.My goodness i think its a gimmick to far.

HTC includes a separate 8GB microSD card for your storages such as apps that supports app2SD. Also LG partitions their storage as an SD card(they did this on the G2x known as the Optimus 2x), and you also only have 5.3GB available to you as I said part of it is used for apps and OS. The G2x is a solid device though; i'm enjoying it.

Beca... moreThe only HTC devices with a locked boot loader in the past 2 years is the HTC sensation along with the HTC Evo 3D. So unless you have one of those recently released devices I call BS on your comment. It's laughable that brand fanboys read one news and then goes and tries to use that as a statement against a brand they don't like. All brands have their pros and cons.

3D on mobile devices are DOA just like this phone. Good thing Nokia doesn't do any worthless gimicks like this.

I'd view this one with caution...
Early previews have said screen isn't brilliant (brightness, etc.) and not the best camera shots either...
Coupled with Froyo and LG's lack of support in the past...
If 3D is your bag, I'd wait for the Evo 3D coming really soon (a Sensation basically with a bit more RAM and 3D!)
Looks very nice too!
