WhatsApp adds text-based Status updates

Users can now have only text as Status updates with option to customize background and font colors.

    What a useless feature. WhatsApp should add SD card support on Android somewhere in settings to choose default storage for media. There are loads of 8GB phones that run out of storage because you receive pictures and other media from people.
