So don't act like you never said that or other thing. It seems you are very sensitive about other people opinion.
I make that opinion because i work as photographer, so at least i make my humble input, if you don't like it well fine by me.

And you mean the sensor is only part of it. And then the lens. Body has importance but not nearly as much as lens or sensor when talking quality.

I also really want a camera that can focus well at night, and the A7 seems like it cant really handle that. I think im gonna go with the A6300 for its newer (and better) AF, 4k recording (even if it overheats), better battery life surprisingly and its wider lens range. I really would like the A6500 for its 5 axis image stabilization which would make it better in low light than the A7 despite its larger sensor, but its out of my price range.

This is one of those times, I so badly wanna kick canon's bu++s. Canon is falling behind on purpose in terms of technology and features. Sony is so advanced now, but Nikon is catching up. I would say with the specs offered, Nikon D850 is a great camera. Nikon and Sony never disappointed the customers in terms of Dynamic range they offer in every new model. I use a canon 5d mark ii with a couple of Canon lenses. I am sure, Canon won't launch a full frame flagship model that can compete with Nikon D850 in another two years. If at all, I would stand for Canon today, that would be only for their glasses. Their Cameras now are nothing, but disappointment. I want to move to Nikon now.

paco2x, 24 Aug 2017If size is important for street photos nothing like the Son... moreIt annoys the heck out of me that a lot of these nice cameras come standard with F3.5-4 as base. And that to get better for some like F1.8-2 costs so darn much or have other shortcomings.
Despite their large sensors my S7 still performs better in most low light situations.
I love my camera, and in the end I still got a great deal on it, but oi vey.
Yes I know some are more available and it's something you need to look into before purchasing.

AnonD-683214, 24 Aug 2017I agree, and Im happy with what I've gotten out of my D5500... moreIf size is important for street photos nothing like the Sony A6000 or 6300, with a 50mm f/1.8 will do great with low light. Also you can use the 55-210mm for long distance, but you lose the wide angle shots.
If you can afford more, the A7 is a great choice for a compact and affordable FF.
You can save lots of money with old lens and adapters for the Sony E mount, the cons are the lack of autofocus and electronic aperture. The pros are the low price for old high end lens, more aperture blades on those lens and better construction like metal. It's more challenging to use manual focus - aperture lens but adds more fun, at least for me.

My main gripe is the viewfinder of my D5500 being tiny and dark. This camera is at least 2 grand out of my price range, but its fun to look at it. Im thinking about getting a used D7500 or maybe just switching over to a used sony A6300 or A6000. I love the idea of what i can do with an EFV, and im not opposed to carrying around a couple extra batteries. It would be really handy to be able to see what highlights the camera is blowing out when jsut looking througb the viewfinder and having a bright readout of what im looking at in low-light (I love using MF but its a challenge with the crappy viewfinder of my D5500.) My ig is randomjakeperson if u wanna check my stuff out. Im a teen so price is a pretty difficult subject so id like to keep it low, which an aps-c camera would be nice for. I would love the low light opportunity that a FF cam would give me, but im mostly a street/travel photographer, so I place a lot of importance on the camera being small (less noticeable for street photography) and light (easier to carry around when traveling/hiking) so the A6**** series is looking pretty attractive. Im just really hung up on the IQ and depth of field of FF cameras. What do u think

Its great that Nikon is advancing forward, and i love the inclusion of the D5's superb autofocus and the higher res sensor as well as the more durable body, but there are a couple improvements I wish nikon had made like in-body stabilization and much better live view autofocus as well as a hybrid viewfinder. That being said this is a fantastic camera that is way out if my price range.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2017Because this is the ONLY camera that can beat Nokia's 41MP sensorNo, there's actually a handful of cameras that can beat Nokia's 42 (not 41) megapixel camera including the Sony A7rii, the canon eos 5Ds, the Fujifilm GFX 50s, and multiple Hasselblad's. There's probably more that I forgot to list, but there's also film which often has a higher equivalent resolution than 42 megapixels.

The expensive Hasselblad gear won't make pro photos just like that... you can even make great pics with some humble APS-C cameras like the Nikon D5600 or Canon EOS 70D.
