    And what happens with the Nokia Z launcher???? if not pre-installed, could we ay less expect a final stable version for download from the play store or the Nokia/Z launcher or HDM web ???

      The gap in price and specs between the Nokia 6 and the Nokia 8 leaves a very interesting space for a Nokia 7 that they will hopefully announce soon.
      The lack of USB-C and fast charging kept me from getting the 6.

                Nokia never did anything that wrong so as to deserve what happened.
                They only tried to keep our privacy intact, and ensure we use the best of media.... Those were not the eras of OS & "remain connected" crae, those were the eras of multimedia.... music, camera, movies....
                An era I actually enjoyed a lot, compared to today where its just app craze, internet & connected stuff.

                Anyhow, Nokia is not the same as before, Symbian is far gone even though it made a fantastic smartphone, Meego is gone too, to make place for that Windows mobile craptrap.

                But welcome back anyways, Nokia...
                The question that troubles me is, Was Nokia just a name that we'd be happy having as a sticker on our phone? Or was it something more?
                Because that "Something more" is no longer there... So, today if its S8 or Nokia 8, how does it matter?

                  I've always loved Nokia, I'm very glad they have made a successful comeback. My last Nokia phone was the N9 and I think my next Nokia will be the 6 or 8. Kudos!

                      was using Nokia my entire life until I used iphone. Very happy to see Nokia back in action.

                      Welcome back Nokia. If I ever use Android it will be a nokia.

                                    The Essential has a ceramic back but doesn't scratch as easily as glass like the one in the S8 or G6. The unreliable camera of the Essential can be fixed with updates.
