This getting really annoying, every phone has to be exact copy of Samsung and iPhone design even if bezels serve a purpose and even if thicker phone has more battery, also it has to have Amoled even if LCD is proven to be more reliable long term without burn ins, with 1440p at least even if on sub 5.5 wouldnt make any difference besides making performance worse and battery last even shorter....
These people have so many options, lets others like us have a choice...I dont want a razor thin phone and less durability, also I dont want throwaway amoled screen which burn in after 1 year power use...

Top and Bottom Bezels should be trimmed down like the Galaxy s8. The Z5c's thin speaker profile will do the trick. Ditch the sony logo put it elsewhere like at the side or back. I don't mind having a thick compact phone should it have a larger battery say 3200mah :)
Volume Rocker should move at the upper right above the fingerprint scanner. Also devise a way to add more grip to the phone. Xperias are so slippery but this applies to most phone i guess.
Basically update Z5c w/ a trimmed down top and bottom bezel. It would be a dream to have a phone having smaller footprint.

They whine so much about this phone as if they're about to die when this gets released, that they have to criticize it as much as they can just to stop this phone and Sony as a whole from succeeding.
Really, if they don't like it, it only means it's not for them, which makes me wondered why they are still interested on this phone that's not made specially for them.
Is this the power of Sony, that they can grab anyone's attention to their product that really shouldn't attract them at all?

The time of it happening is unpredictable, so the only way to stop its terrible result is to prevent the damn thing from happening from the start, which is why we need more durable phones so that one can simply be careless and not worry about his/her device getting wrecked so easily.
Small bezels don't fix anything. They make the phone look prettier, and maybe fit more screen into smaller body, but none of those could justify the weaker build of the whole thing.
If you prefer that road, I won't stop you from doing so.
Just don't put your different opinion to something that's literally made for a different purpose and for different people with different taste as you have.

Hope sony stay at their design and make a cell phone without bezels for those who want that phone. Not important for me. Except galaxy edge and blackberry all phones look the same so I hope sony stay at their philosphy.

That front camera is huge!
Hopefully that panel for the back and sides is a scratch resistant metal or something of similar quality.
No antenna bands in sight on this render, but one of the xz1's renders didn't either.
