dead design, poor 3rd party rom development (lose all camera features and stability when other LOS or AOSP roms are flashed.

Design hasn't changed since the Xperia Z.

Whats the point that Sony are trying to make? Is it that we have no imagination? Is there next trick going to be a 1000fps camera?

Wonder why their mobile department is going down the toilet? :)

Glaring obviousness..

Has a lot of plus points, but jesus they need to change something other than the mp count and the size of the screen.

I want to show you the antenna structure designs of Xperia XZ Premium and also the Triple Layer of Graphite sheets use for heat dissipating.

So the Sony is solve the heat issue and with the outstanding antenna design and ensure the high Internet speed and lower SAR.

Well, if we can only have features useful to the average user right now, we won't have any innovation ever. Twenty years ago, a camera in a phone was a "dumb" idea, because an average user didn't need it, and thirty years ago, cellphones themselves were a "dumb" idea, because average people did just fine with payphones, they said. FHD+ screens were "dumb" just a few years ago, and still not strictly *needed*, except for corner cases, yet they are trickling down to mainstream right now.

High-speed phone cameras may be "dumb" in physics class *now*, but it has to start somewhere, if it's going to trickle down to mainstream. It's not like 600+ fps chips will cost much more than regular 60fps, once the R&D is paid for, and once there, I'm quite confident the kinds will record their vinegar and baking soda volcanoes, or whatever, in every fps their phones can muster, while I may use it to find out which relay contact is sparking, or just for fun.

High speed video is quite useful in physics class, various diagnostics and also to make art. When it trickles down to cheaper devices, it gives kids a new way to understand their world. That's far from useless in my book. I'll gladly pay for it, once available on top of my other "must have" features.

And, hopefully, won't go broke. Carrying a 1000fps camera in my pocket is impressive indeed, but I wouldn't be able to hit the shutter at the right moment and not shake the phone as a result, ruining my slow-mo. Not without a tripod. And if I carry a tripod, I get a dedicated camera.

trend wins. you fanboys lose.. lol

This means that we have infinite potential in ourselves, and we just need to express our own to our will.

You see, who would've thought that we could actually do this near 1000fps Slow Motion on a smartphone?
Probably anyone even considered 480fps Slow Motion on a smartphone is a thing of impossibility, yet we are here having this insanely futuristic tech (not those funky small bezels, okay?) in our own hands, which we used to have ONLY on dedicated slow motion cams.

How I wish this phone gets more attention and appraisal than anything with thin bezels today.
