If there is no sense in having an AMOLED display why does Apple want to invest in the technology for their next iPhone? Does that make any sense to you?

I don't see iPhones as intuitive (look up the word if you don't know the meaning) at all. You have to double tap the home button to show running/recent apps whereas with my S5 I only need to tap one button to access running/recent apps. There's also a back button soft key whereas your only back button is the virtual one in programs. Last but not least I can easily enter numbers without switching the keyboard to numerical mode (extra work) because the S5's keyboard layout is similar to that of a computer. IPhones aren't intuitive at all. They are simply overpriced.

You will NEVER know the beauty of a File Manager because iPhones don't have a SD slot. When you memory is full you have to use online storage which costs you storage fees as well as data fees. We Android users, especially S5 users simply send stuff to our memory cards and if that memory card is full we get a bigger one...all the way up to 256GB. Oh and yes we have cloud storage like you iPhone users...just that we are not limited to that type of storage ONLY when your phone gets full. Go to your iPhone forum and brag to your other iPhone lovers but don't try to brag in a S5 forum because as somebody once said, the S5 is FAR superior than any iPhone.

I agree. I too trust older flagships compared to today's mid-rangers.

The S5 still have a few things that today's mid-rangers doesn't have, a heart rate sensor not to mention 4k video recording. Many mid-rangers camcorder max out at 1080p. Even though a few mid-rangers have 1080p, the S5 display still looks far better. Think two similar spec'd 1080p TVs but one shows clearer. Also, many mid-rangers doesn't have a fingerprint scanner as well as Wi-Fi dual band along with the AC protocol. Not to mention the S5 is water resistant which many mid-rangers aren't. Last but not least the good ole Infared/IR Blaster which allows you to practically control any IR device on the planet...TVs, Air Conditions, component sets etc. I will stick to my S5 over any mid-ranger. The S5 is a flagship compared to any mid-rangers out there.

You can tell it's the S5 right away, most other phones look the same nowadays. Also, the back is non-slippery and the "holes" increase the surface to keep the phone cool. It's functional. Z2 has a glass back, it's slippery, and it's you who needs a cover to keep from dropping it and breaking it. I have the S-View cover which you can't get for the Sony. Monolithic design is not an advantage, I want to be able to replace the battery. Both phones are water resistant, I've heard that the Sony gets water damage as well. Sony has a few upsides - stereo speakers, wrist strap eyelet, OIS (Edit: Z2 has no OIS. My bad. That's the LG G3). S5 has better viewing angles and outdoor visibility, also it comes with TouchWiz (way better looking than stock android) and extra options. Also I personally had bad experience with Sony products so I chose the S5. Sony will never get my money again, but if it works for you, enjoy your phone.

Why I don't pick S5 at that moment, because it is superb ugly, the protrude camera lens and I heard a lot water damage issue because it is not monolithic designs. I choose my Xperia Z2 it is awesome build quality, I don't think S5 can survive more than 10 drop to floor with 90cm height and more than 3 times deep drop on road and crash by a car doors, oh I forget it is a ugly phone must wear the clothes to hide the dots.

S5 is the last good phone in the Samsung's S series. It's the last S series phone to have practical, useful design: removable battery and plastic body. Samsung ruined everything with the S6. Now we won't see a removable battery phone anymore in this world. (Maybe after this globalized society has collapsed and then rebuilt and everything started again (repeated cycle), we will see removable battery phones again.)

[deleted post]I don't know what you base your opinion on. I *have* an iPhone 7, and would never be buying another one till they get rid of their OS. Android is generations ahead of iOS in all terms except for the little updates which Apple keeps sending out, but which still don't make iOS as flexible or user centric as Android has been for a long time.

The other myth of iOS being as reliable as the sun got busted last week when I had to factory reset the phone yesterday as it would stutter and hang while receiving calls (despite only 17GB of 128 GB utilized). I thought this was not supposed to happen in the world's greatest phone, going by the iSheep's comments?

Guess what? After the factory reset, the phone feels a lot smoother...like what used to happen in KitKat! On the other hand, Lollipop and newer devices that I and my family members have, exhibit no such problem.

THAT is why i am typing this on my OnePlus. I intend to replace the iDump with a Pixel XL 2 or Note 8

Seriously, grow up. Your iPhone took years to get capital letters on the keyboard, and the next one will have AMOLED. Maybe. As well as stereo recording. Maybe. And it takes a million hours to transfer a video to it without iTunes. Hey, I have an even better phone for you: Nokia 3310! Opens every game in less than half a second!
OK, I take my offer back. I'll give you 40 Euro for your iPhone. Take it or leave it. Actually, scrap that, you give me your iPhone and 100 Euro, and I'll take it from you. It is obviously making you miserable since you have to go and troll on a page like this.

BT file sharing was used ages ago but it's replaced by shareit & xender. Coming to the file manager, yes it's an useless feature. The thing about truth is that it can be denied.
File Manager's an essential thing for Androids as they organize all of your files in one place, categorized on where they should be.

And why the f*** would you bring BT on this topic? Wtf does that have to do here?
But since you just have mentioned, Androids now have BT5.0 that offers such things like longer range of connection and higher quality audio transfer like Sony's LDAC.

Just because you have a hard time admitting the lack of something on your brand, doesn't mean you have to prove me wrong with stupid and unrelated stuff.

If you think File Manager isn't essential on iPhones, explain now on why Apple insisted on adding it on iOS 11 and we'll have an agreement on that.
