      LG is one of the BEST that is for sure. Durability is no doubt. not like your fruit phone it becomes a snail after they released a new product.

          I for one, will wait LG for the tv with the best phone feature, ...and maybe for the microwave oven with the best display. They lost their game after the G2 and are no close to recover.

              When it comes to features, VR's and gimmicks. Samsung's the best.
              When it comes to new technology, optimization and better innovation. Apple's the best.
              When it comes to camera, big bezzels, front facing speaker, and higher screen resolution. Sony is the best. HTC comes at seconds cause of its unavailability issues.
              When it comes to good history of making good cellphones. Nokia is the best. BUT. As of now, there are only a handful of android devices being released on the market due to the fact that it only has been reborn.
              And when it comes to overloading all the goodies onto a single smartphone. Asus is the best.

              So YES. Only a sony fan would've say those words. Unless your a HTC cult.

                  I am an audiophile. I dunno who is the marketing guy in LG, but this "quad dac" nonsense should seriously stop... DSD, 24bit, Hi-res, quad/dual dacs.. are nothing but LIES & FLUFF which doesn't improve your audio at all. A good audio chain only needs the following:

                  Lossless music files (e.g Flac/Alac/Wav... NOT Mp3, ogg, etc) > SINGLE quality DAC from Ti, ESS & AKM > powerful internal amplifier > good headphones/earphones/speakers

                  These are one of the reasons why even tech ppl (reviewers too) are super rubbish when it comes to audio because they've been fed pseudo garbage, confusing/spreading wrong info to the public, hence, why most ppl don't bother with sound.... a shame really, cause everyone listens to audio/music on a daily basis and have the capacity to appreciate better audio listening experience.

                    And yes I agree about controller support and emulation. But it's Sony themselves that make it so basically only their phones support their controllers or so easily.

                    And about unnatural colors that is an old claim. And even then was kind of out off control in claim and comparison of other available tech.
                    And also is just a matter of calibration. And on that note most tv's are not calibrated properly or even as well. And whether see the difference or need of 1080 vs 1440p, vs 2160p is irrelevant of our points.
                    The quality and tech in those specific Galaxy displays are kind of consumer toppers. Or among masters in that category.

                      AMOLED screen "burn in" is not much of an issue anymore on high end phones. Even with some mild burn after a couple of years, you don't really notice it unless you're viewing a white screen, and even then it's hardly noticeable, it's very faint. You can make the screen less saturated in the display settings. AMOLED is better for your eyes than LCD and you're less prone to headaches. I've spent a lot of time with both technologies. But that's just my experience. Try them both for yourself before you decide.

                        phone displays in resolution and gamut has reached a plateau to me, even 1080p and 1440p seems the same, i also find the colours seems a bit too unnatural, but a lot of people like amoled, i am not concerned, what i don't like about samsung, is that it don't have native game controller support ( unless you would consider that expensive and crap samsung game controller released 3 years ago), on the other hand, i love my plug and play ps4 dual shock 4 controller which has native support ( i don't play mobile games, but emulation is good), my older z2 has ps3 and ps4 native controller support, depends what suits your needs

                            I've had every LG Phone since the G2, I still use the V10 as my daily driver as it's built like a tank, and stands up to the rigors of work. At any rate, I've never seen, nor heard, nor owned a phone with an LCD screen having "burn in" issues that are obviously prevalent with AMOLED screened phones, which rarely happens to those as well. It's a Unicorn for both the LCD and AMOLED screens. You hear about it but never see it.

Never heard before... and the design is really like ... morewho cares if it's a brick, it sounds awesome and makes any phones sound like cassette players, even make v30 sound like a compressed 128kbps mp3, just like a aps-c camera or even better full frame camera will always significantly better than any phones, this digital audio player with phones features is truly audiophile quality, at the end of the day, a phone is jack of trades, but is it ever a master of any trade, i don't play games on my phone ( i have ps vita, 3ds xl and psp), i don't listen music either on my phone

                              i don't even use my phone (XZs) for music anymore, i use my "brick" audiophile grade digital audio player sony walkman NW-ZX100, it's only 240 x 400, no touch screen, not even android and it can't stream, but what it does do, play such awesome music that you feel euphoric due to the sound quality, the soundstaging, the clarity, the layers of intricate sound.

                              also have a look at astell & Kern ak380 and sony nw-wm1z or nw-wm1a if you worried about the size of the "brick"
