Yes! The Palm pre was one of the best phones I've ever had for its time. Multitasking cards, wireless charging, customisable OS. If they can match the quality for modern era, I will definitely be intrigued!

Now smartphones are more media devices ,that is why Sony bought the Ericsson share from Sony-Ericsson and became Sony .

I don't remember what was the deal with Sony and Ericsson and why only Sony continued. I agree about the feel, I still remember when Ericsson T68 was introduced, and how different it looked when it was reintroduced as a Sony Ericsson T68. SE had a few great designs like Xperia Arc, though, but I do remember the cheap plastic sound when I would squeeze a SE (like my old K800, or a few others). Ericsson alone used different materials and I often wonder what it would look like if they made a modern smartphone. I really liked their style.

There must be something that is stopping ericsson from rejoining the bandwagon, let alone restarting the joint venture.... has anyone forgotten about sony ericsson? When they first started the phones mostly had the ericsson feel, but gradually felt more like sony's.
