Those devices look great , including with those nice chosen colors , although i prefer XZ1 Compact more because it's small , comapct phone yet with powerful specs .

First off please point to one part of my comment that even implied the S8, any specific service at all, or Sony needing to go bezeless?
You can't because there wasn't anything like that in there.
My comment even specifically showed that i don't mind the bezels.
A thicker, taller, wider, or larger bezeled phone is fine as long as it is utilized for having that space.
As well as there is nothing wrong with the bezeless ones either.
That makes you just as bad or worse as the people complaining about bezels.
And for the XZP i mentioned that the issue was not that it had big bezels but that they were not utilized.
It dramatically taller and thicker than their 3 year older flagship.
And for that all it offered was 0.26 inch more screen for being over 10mm taller. And 100mah battery. That's it.
No more screen, no more battery, no more brighter lens, ois, larger sensors, no more powerful speakers, it had a worse screen to body ratio, etc.
And not only was the device physically much larger but intensified are smaller too. Like going down from 28nm SoC to 10nm SoC.
Please learn to use your brain and make fair objective and simply logical replies.

Sony, I love your design but please, improve the side bezel just like you did at xperia XA Ultra and XA1 Ultra. I dont care top and bottom bezel are large because stereo speaker and space to hold when playing games and watching movies in landscape. If compare design between XZ Premium and XA1 Ultra, i think XA1 Ultra much more beautiful and premium.

Most people think that it is empty space inside and all they have to do is a stretch on Autocad... Haha.
Stupid people don't know crap about industrial design and they want to have an opinion too.
If I don't like a design, at least I have the knowledge to understand the reason behind a choice.
And concerning the battery, it is not only about theoretical capacity, but lifespan, charging time etc, stuff you won't see on the regular spec sheet.

Wonder if changing style and camera is enough for a new flagship. Not that they are not enough original, just kind of expected, no exciting specs, sensors, functions. Wonder who will save the fall from being boring.

If you using the bezel-less smartphone it can be more difficult to hold by one hand unless you have attached a phone-ring or flip-case on it.

There is GOD who listen to us . The return of the compact to the family since z1 z3 z5 excellent compacts. The x compact is not belonging to this family, currently using x compact and since last firm update it is somtemies freeze when I use massages . the xz1 will be the best 4.6" smartphone in the world in front of similar size iphone 7s.
