http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2450831

You said changing the SD card voids the warranty, which is true for most WP7 devices because the card is inside the phone, and I replied that you can change Samsung Focus' card without voiding the warranty. That's it.

AnonD-1393, 30 May 2011Did you know samsung focus' SD card is user replaceable? No... moreNow try reading the link I sent which clearly states the the SD cards cannot be read by a PC or transferred to another WP7 device without being re-formatted! Thus making it impossible to populate it with my music files unlesss I use Zune. Just becuase one device, as you quite rightly state, allows it, does not mean the O/S will. The bottom line is that I cannot simply take out the SD card out of my 6.5 device and place in to a WP7 device and expect it to work. I really do not consider that an un-reasonable expecation.

I have to agree, whilst it does have some way to go to doing everything Android can, WP7 is actually very good. The main reason it gets slated by a lot of people on here is because perceptions of 6.

I think being able to simply copy files to the SD card from my PC by plugging in to a card reader is not an unreasonable expectation given that 6.x did it just fine!!

OK. At last... Microsoft probably was asleep... I have used Windows Mobile of 2 contract handseats-MDA Pro & HTC HD. I was waiting for better, but I as forced to take Samsung Galaxy SII, because WM7 dissapointed me...
My wishes - make better WM device than Samsung Galaxy SII and I will come back to your - Windows Mobile.
Currently even first look, first impression isn't good-WM7 looking little bit to childish and poor... Those yellowish squares...
And absolutely different impression when looking to Android's screen...
I like WM software because it is like Pocket PC.
My dream isn't toy; even so beautiful as Android in Samsung Galaxy.
My dream is perfect PC in my Pocket, having internet connection and bright 5' screen, with battery 3000mA/h... Weight and thickness isn't so important-very good is 200g and 15mm...

Nokia W series will have Micro SD Card reader..Multitaskin? WP7 Mango has it and all over 500 updates over the original WP7 and is not just the interface, IS ALL THE OS, better net browser, better multimedia handling, videoconference, bluetooth transfers, and more and more...

The bad part is Symbian will be officially kill by Nokia, no more updates for it, sincerely Symbian time is over, Meego will be throwed too.

Now Nokia is focused on WP7, and this can be a real pump for Nokia, he weak point for now is the OS, the hardware is not fast either, but nor bad, the OS is for the one Nokia is experiencing low sales...

WP7 can change this for good :D
