About the only thing Jobs did better was selling stuff - even though some of it was equally vapourware OR things already out by competitors. Even towards the end of Jobs time at Apple it was starting to stagnate.

Note8 is around 1,000 USD anyways. V30's price isn't as high, but still not a cheap phone. Price point isn't the focus this year, and bezelless craze had its toll, and you wouldn't expect less from Apple. You offer me a Moto whatever or an Xperia-knows-who with a huge bezel at 600 USD vs. one of these crazy phones with virtually no borders for over 1,000 USD, I'd still go for the second option.

If all the rumour about design are correct and they successfully embedded fingerprint into powerkey or at least in the Apple logo I will buy that phone. But not for 1000$..hell no. 800 I think it's reasonable price. Otherwise I'll go for v30

It's $649 directly from apple, always has been at this price. So what are you on about? Iphone 6s is 549. And iphone 6 was replaces with iphone SE which is extremely fast for 399.

[deleted post]It's Funny Sammy guys are complaining about the price of the IPhone but see no issue paying for a 9000$ note 8. At least the iphone will not be outdated in a year like a sammy device. Iphones can be used for 4 years. Imagine how many sammys you will have to buy in 4 Years.
My advice to those with low budgets (or brains) is to get a cheap Chinese or Taiwanese device (xiaomi, oneplus, huawei, lenovo, asus etc). There is little difference betwee n these devices and the iphones or SAMSUNG phones.
