Let me tell you what iPhone is...iPhone is an iPod touch with voice call and 3G feature..thats all...For me it's more like an Entertainment phone..A SMARTphone should be really smart enough to allow you to customize and do/create anything you want..For me Android quite capable, try google and search "superuser" of Android then you understand how much we can do on our Android phone..I own 3 different phones btw...Apple Blackberry and HTC...So I know them well...Please don't tell me which better

Anonymous, 31 May 2011And the general public just don't care for those things. Th... moreThe iphone is for the average masses. Fine. But you should reconsider calling it a smartphone. It lacks features which even some dumbphones have. It doesn't really multitask(just cache prog.data store, switch) and doesn't have any sort of file management. It can't utilize filetypes it can't recognize. Even SE A2 platform was better in that respect.

Bricked, 31 May 2011And the haters will all cry in anger once again, when iOS 5... more:) Nice, but this is true and possible only for androids which are rooted. You also need a file manager that has the ability to view root. Take a general file-manager like Astro and it becomes impossible to brick your device.

No, I am not a iHater. But just because of such decisions by apple, the iphone is not an option for me.

And functions like USB storage and file management designed to make things easier for the masses.

Oh no, NO FILE BROWSER. I won't be able to delete the system files on my device. lol.

which finally means that you can throw away your iphone 3GS which you have bought 18 months ago... the only thing is you got 6 more months on your contract. no other company makes you feel so stupid after 2 years because you bought their stuff which seems today being outdated as bread being 3 months over the sell by date.

iTunes dependent for sync! Cannot even send a music file to my friends. It would be better to have an ordinary file management system.

I don't like Apple but with iCloud this COULD be like iPhone 3G all over again. Yep iOS has some major flaws but I've learned not to underestimate Apple. They can innovate and they constantly think outside the box. Won't be surprised to see Android loose some savour when iOS 5 releases.

I'm still an Android myself though.
