Will this phone comes with Android Oreo or Nougat ? With MIUI 9 or Android One like Mi 1A(5X) ? Hopefully Xiaomi make 2 version, MIUI 9 for China and Android One for global release. MIUI updates always come a lot of bugs. My Redmi Notes 3 terribly effecteds by MIUI updates.

piku, 08 Sep 2017Don't care this is only for Chinese market as always Malaysia get Mi Note 2 and Mi 6 officially. I hope this Mi Note 3 too will come to Malaysia. I wonder why Malaysia get this both device but India not getting its. India is much bigger market compare to Malaysia.

This is one of my fears for the Mi Mix 2. Oled is great, but if the ppi is not high enough the pentile that comes with it...not so great.

Rumors from China around this device suggest that it may not be equipped with snapdragon 835, but rather a snapdragon 660.

This better be better than last year's Mi Note 2, which I own. The display is horrible @ 1080 x 1920 w/ 386 ppi. My older Lenovo Vibe Z 2 Pro was better (SD801) @ 1440 x 2560 w/ 490 ppi. This is where i learned that screen resolution is important.

Yeah, Xiaomi (in general) likes to do these kind of teasing. But with that aside, it will be really interesting (exciting) to see the Mi Mix 2 and the Mi Note 3 simultaneously. What's more, among all the other specs, hopefully they will both include an SD slot this time.
