But my "glue & adhesive" point was about phones with non-removable batteries since that's how they make them these days (even LG has abandoned removable batteries).
If you can, divert you energy to the smartphone makers and rant at them to bring back removable-battery smartphones.

Not going to happen because Samsung is using a very high quality battery compare to its previous phones and other companies. S7 edge battery capacity loss 20% after a year where else note 8 will only loss 5% after 2 years. You get what you paid for I guess.

I dont want bendable or water resistant or aluminium phone. Waht i want is repairable phone with replaceable parts, incase they fall or bend in my pocket or rain. Cheap thick plastic will do for me. i dont want to be conscious all the time, feeling like carrying a expensie baby. It should be just another gadget in my pocket.

The official way to dissasembly the note 8 does not contain seperating the screen from the metal frame. They are provided as a single quite expensive part. The repairability score acounts for a seperation that the phone is not designed to allow.

yup IP certified phone IP54 or IP68 are a pain to change the battery on their own. The adhesives must be reapplied. Better take it to service right away and pay the absurd money they ask for it. That's one of the reasons i don't want phones with any water resistancy because normally i keep my phones for 3-4years and i'm used to change the batteries.

If you check the bend tests of iPhone 7, the phone doesn't break or snap, but the screen is pushed out from the frame revealing adhesives that is struggling to hang on to the screen. But in Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6, the screen stays stuck to the frame even if you try to bend the frame.
