Samsung begins working on Galaxy S8 Oreo update

The update could carry firmware version of G955FXXU1BQI1 and G950FXXU1BQI1 for the S8 and S8+, respectively.

    Sony latest phone have Oreo out of the box if any of you dont want to play waiting games with Samsung.

      I have been with Samsung from day one and it's about time I say "No more". From the SG, SGS3, SGS5 and last year March SGS7 and they have not improved their software update game. *ANGRY FACE* I can't wait for the Pixel 2 XL so I can decide between it and the LG V30

        I doubt it will arrive before early february.

          It "might not implement all Android 8.0 features in the update?" (What's the reason). But let's say that at least something has started, so far.

            Android software uogrades always diminish performance and battery life, why?

              Galaxy S8, the outgoing flagship, not the Note 8, the current flagship. That surely makes sense.

                I'm surprised. I thought that the duo would receive this update next year. What of the S8 active?
