Xiaomi definitely rising its prices. It almost a bit cheaper than Oppo R11, but Oppo already has a reputation for higher prices. Keep in mind the R11 has some more expensive components like AMOLED screen and Gorilla Glass 5 and its back is not fragile since it is not made of glass. Also R11's camera performance is better than Mi6.

6.2" wide screen isn't much bigger than 5.5" 16:9. I with they went bigger and not smaller than last year's 6.4"

Well,judging by the latest announcements Xiaomi started major attack on the market.Old Mi Note 2 was excellent phone but a bit pricey,but new one starts at 285$!?And what about new Mi Mix 2..I use Mi6 for few months now and all I can say it is a beast of a phone,and a beauty too.Sadly,it will have to go cause the new Mix 2 looks even better,with same proven hardware..Don't like or need bigger phones,but come on look at it!I can get a good price for my almost new Mi6 and will get Mix 2,that's it,it's a fab thing..

Asus and 1+ have higher benchmark with same spec as they optimized it for higher performance as they need the number to sell their product
Where Samsung and its peer focus on reliability and tuned it a bit down.
