YalokIy, 11 Sep 2017As always with xiaomi -- best price/performance ratio. But ... moreReliability gets through often reboots.

poopypoop, 11 Sep 2017According to this review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z... moreMay be not bad for a budget laptop, but for me anything below 780 (my current card) is too weak for 1080p. My current setup struggles with new titles, so I mostly play older games (I cannot play games at below 40 fps, it looks like a slide show to me).
Adding about 1/3 of the price you can get a laptop with mobile 1060 card, it may not be so compact but it is much better performance-wise. Worth it for games.

Quite expensive but also good spec's. Could use more memory on board but the price will rocket! Like it and hate it at the same time!

poopypoop, 11 Sep 2017According to this review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z... moreWhoa. no way the MX150/GT 1030 is that good. I have a GTX 1050Ti Mobile edition and it runs most games at 1080p/Max (excluding Cities:Skylines, that game can lag even on a Titan Xp). The GT 1030 is no good for serious gaming. Maybe light platformers and old games from 2014 at max. This card is meant to be for multimedia PCs capable of encoding and decoding 4K HDR @60 content with ease, with some Photoshop with not a lot of 3D involved.

So, not quite killing it in terms of gaming, is it?
Anyhow, will make an overall capable product I guess, even if not focused on gaming.

They should make a version with Ryzen and Vega.

The MX 150 is the GT 1030.

Those cards are slightly faster than the GTX 750.
And are on-par with the AMD RX550.
Both are slower than the GTX 750 Ti, GT 1040, RX 460 and RX 560.
The GTX 1050 is even faster than those cards listed above.
And the GTX 1050 Ti is another step, it is the fastest GPU we have today that can be put in a mobile device (ie/ below 75W TDP or no need for extra 6-pin PSU).

Yuri84, 11 Sep 2017OK laptop for office work or some light programming. Won't ... moreAccording to this review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zS5qQrvnJA

It seems like the GT 1030 is about as good as the GTX 750 Ti (which is equivalent to the GTX 960M), which is at this point a 3-year-old budget GPU but is still capable of playing the latest games at 1080p/medium (maybe having to drop stuff to low if it's like PUBG or Witcher III). Not too shabby for a laptop, IMO.

As always with xiaomi -- best price/performance ratio. But how about reliability?
Also, a pity there is no 512GB or more option..

OK laptop for office work or some light programming. Won't do for any game that requires actual dedicated graphics since GT 1030 is just not powerful enough for anything outside of simple browser games (MX150 = GT 1030).

Wow, its quite full-featured and at a decent price (US $858).
Its got a decent CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, Cooling, Battery, Screen, Keyboard, TouchPad, Fingerprint reader, Ports, and Build Quality. The only thing it Lacks is ThunderBolt 3, and the webcam is very bad quality.

It only ever mentions USB 3.0 on their website, but I'm willing to bet the 2x USB-C ports are actually USB 3.1 compliant and lack TB3. Which is a shame.
Intel said they were going to include the TB3 protocol into the chipset, and allow other companies to use the protocol. If this device did have it, this would be the perfect Long-Life laptop since it has a good cooling solution, so it could've benefited by an eGPU like the AKiTiO Node, and convert from a mobile device (like the Nintendo Switch) to become a living room TV Console (like the Switch) except a lot more powerful and full-featured.

Will wait for a review on this. I just hope that this lives up to the hype.
It just looks gorgeous and the MX150 is more than adequate for light gaming (CS:GO & Dota 2). It really looks promising.
