Looks absolutely nothing like the Starck concept video or leaked renders. Mix 1 looks so much better. Humongous let down. Hard pass on this phone!

What a disaster that phone was.
It went from the most hyped product of 2017 to the poor borther of its ... predecessor (I mean less usable aspect ratio, less screen to body ratio, far less battery, same 1080p IPS, same bad camera...) ... there is nothing to like here , yet people ... like it.

I must have a viased concept about what is premium. What I can see is another actual phone with a trendy design and lacks that make it not be premium, from the lack of global service to the lack in some specifications.

Pakistani1, 12 Sep 2017500 euro vs 600 euro. not a huge difference . 600 euros vs 410 euros (for 64GB version). It is almost a 32% price difference. Intro price of S8 was almost 900 euros, Mi Mix 2 will be reduced to 300 euros after couple of weeks...

I felt disappointed with the Mi Mix 2's specs but the starting price had to be nerfed for the masses to buy. $5xx for a starting price is like $300 cheaper than the Mi Mix's starting price where Tri-bezelless display is starting to gain attention (Sharp doesn't exist for the unresearched masses).
The lack of the headphone Jack, weak Selfie camera and 1000maH off could be a deal breaker but that's how it brought all the way down to $500.
If you want a premium trendy phone for cheaps (unless you're not in Japan), then the Mi Mix 2 is the way to go.
