The phone and the specs look good however looking at the time it will come out, we would be having a lot of smart phones with Dual Core processors in them so I would have liked if this phone too had a Dual Core 1.2 GHz processor in it. It would surely be the best then.

What happened to Sony Ericsson, why they are releasing the same kind of Xperia models again and again, with little modifications only. X10, X10 Mini, X8, Arc, Neo, Play, W8, WT18i, Xperia Mini, and now this one.. all have same kind of design. It is going to be BORING now. Secondly, all are Android, no phone with the old quick Sony Ericsson GUI after W995.

Very slick design, would definatly be a nice phone, but SONY, SONY, get rid of those drop dead gaunt pasty stock Icons! you used the same on the satio and vivaz and seeing them on your new android stuff makes me sad, im reminded of you symbian failures every time i pick up my X10 as it is... move on get funky, if anything chuck some XMB inspired icons on there!

It seems like the perfect phone for one hand operation. Bigger is NOT better in phones. But higher display resolution is, so I see this as an IMPROVED version of the ARC & NEO ...

We can only pray they will de a 'pro' variant of it with keyboard also, that would make it perfect...

still no secondary camera? that was the whats lacking in the original arc which was one of its weak point.

Exactly the same as Neo (3.2 inches screen). I guess SE finally realized how ugly is Neo so the sales are very low, and wants to make a stylish phone like Arc. Wanted to buy Xperia mini but now might consider this one. And Samsung will release a Galaxy 2 mini too. Stop releasing so many phones, i cannot make up my mind...

common SE..you guys take foreverrrrr to launch a new model, and when its out, its already out of date with a ridiculous expensive price, more than can it offer..for example, xperia arc...we all agree its beautiful and thin and bravia bla bla bla, but its not a dual core and it has phisical buttons...how could it be more expensive than some real good dual core? I relly dont understand

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2011So.. this is esentially the 'Arc mini'?Not curved like the Arc, so my guess for a good name for this would be the "Xperia slim".

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2011umm, how different is this from the neo? looks ugly too.Well ARC and NEO are logically almost identical.
ARC is good if you got very large hands, or always use both hands, and is thinner.
NEO is good for most people with one hand. But it is a bit chubbier.

This third device is reduced further, making it even easier to operate with one hand, also for people with smaller hands.

Nice design. Pity though that they've added capacitive Android buttons. All hardware buttons would have been better.

                                  Looks sweet.
Slimmer than iphone4? must be under 10mm thick and yet packs a 8mpix, hd and §ghz qualcomm with adreno 205.
Great specs for sucha small phone! Now why are they doing an Xperia mini when they appearently have this?!
                                  weird.
but who cares? more phones to the people! ;)

wonderfull! i don't need a 4,7" screen mobile (especially that i have galaxy tab) but expria mini 2 and mini pro 2 were too fat for my taste! now this is an excellent replacement for my old hero: almost same screen size but alot thinner and better specs, only if it had a joystick it would be perfect!
