Why would anyone buy faulty equipment. The one the guy had on stage with him wouldnt unlock using facial recognition and had to use another. I can see alot of people feeling ripped off when the shop tells you its your own fault it doesnt work and that is not covered under the warranty.

People switch to andro... moreSorry to burst your bubble, but the iPhones generated the most sales globally up until July 2017 (newer statistics to be released), by a large margin, even though Samsung and the other Android makers had released their flagship devices. Just Google it, update yourself, get out of your fanboy-bubble of yours and then come back for a serious discussion.

Face ID uses dot projections and infrared sensors to scan your face. It works in any lighting condition. This is actually face scanning and tracking, not the basic face unlock from Android 2011.

But to drop reachability, touchid is bad news for one hand operation.
That make iPhone 8 more desirable. But Tim Cook have to think about his own pockets.. refuse to add OLED to iPhone 8 and jackup the price. Sickening.

Most overrated phone of this year, Android is doing what this phone does for years, face scanning is not a feature to by phone for 1000 dollars and when spend another few hundred just to charge it fast, you need to be really sheep to buy this one

There is huge amounth of preorders even now, so this is going to be one of the best selling iPhones for ages, and that means a lot of phones.
So iPhone X is huge succes... maybe Apple did made the iPhone X too cheap... I am sure that They Are moanning now, why we did't put the price to 1200$ because it is even now selling like hot cakes. Well maybe next year ;) Apple did increase the price of iPads so maybe we will get price increase in the next year! So crab it now, when it is still as cheap as it is ;)

The Biggest Drawback is that they removed the touch id . what if the light goes off and you are in a dark room. your password is a 1km long and you dont want to enter the password how u will unlock the phone with face id/ facial recognition. XD
