That's not a five, mind you, but a 'V' for Verizon.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017I feel sad for Asus, their phone never sold any good mostly... moreAsus 2 sold very well in my place, after all its a decent 5.5" with a reasonable price.

Asus 3 and above with its closer to samsung price however, not that much.
It leave the lower market where it now dominated with xiaomi, vivo, and lenovo. Also the upper market where asus try to approach prefer to buy Samsung instead of asus.

So right now, Asus is middling as its not budget phone nor its a premium phone. Oppo is roughly in the same place but it have major marketing campaign going on all year long and have "good camera for its price point" as its selling point. Not sure about asus marketing...

I feel sad for Asus, their phone never sold any good mostly because of software support which there is none when it comes to Asus.

Anonymous, 16 Sep 2017Bezels are fine just so long as they are proportionate. Son... moreAgreed. Once the proportions are right I like bezels. It's just that recently, every time a new phone launches so many people complain that it's not a bezelless design.

Apart from the Roman numbers (X = 10) etc. The phone per sè, seems not bad for its respective segment. But, there's the most important part missing, and without its price, it's not so easy to say if it is worth its segment or not, etc.

I wonder which Sony IMX sensor they are using. I would very much like to see how it compares to my Z5C in terms of PHOTOGRAPHY (not videos) if it is the same IMX300 sensor (which can also be found in XZ and X Compact), I want to see how much better would it be on Sony if they implemented OIS as well.

Well it dont use sp835 or sp 821(maybe), i think sp820 is fine, as long as the price not more than $500. Sp820 still a powerful processor,

With the optimizations of Oreo and the great efficiency of SD820 (even if not as efficient as the SD835), this should definitely last an eternity.
