The chinese guy talking about how widening the aspect ratio is a positive "evolution" is full of shit. It's the worst thing to have happened to the smartphone world in quite a while. Watching pictures and videos is what people do most on their smartphones. Videos and pictures in the 16:9 standard get displayed a LOT smaller on phones with abnormal aspect ratios. It doesn't matter whether you hold the phone in landscape or portrait mode; you will get a smaller image. The width of the device determines how large things get displayed. What will happen next is that more videos and pictures will be made with 18:9 aspect ratios, which is another terrible thing, because the lack of a uniform standard will make it so that EVERYONE gets to see black bars. Also 18:9 is by definition displayed smaller than 16:9 in PORTRAIT MODE. Everyone will be impacted, but people with their narrow 18:9 phones will be hit twice as hard.

Xiaomi is doing it in China.How does that make them a copycat. Everyone is now following the trend. If technology is similar, they are going to look somewhat similar. How can you deny Xiaomi of there share of innovation like ceramic unibody or piezoelectric sound(implementation),etc.

And it is pointless to buy locked phones when are available to buy, because you can not unlock it from outside of Japan, unless you are a really good hacker, lol!

The real designer is the one that made the Aquos Crystal. This is just an improvement over the original design. You can't take someone's design, change it a bit and then tell the whole world you did it.
It's like buying a Mercedes, tune it to the max and then say you designed the whole car, when in fact it's still a Mercedes.

Kyoex will never put them in his site because he wants to make alot of money by selling older models (one year old)

Real story:
We designed the best bezeless phone ever. It was unique, had the greatest screen to body ratio, most battery than any other and usefull aspect raio.
Then we scraped all that and created a cookie cutter that was like the rest bezeless phones, only a bit worse (smaller battery et, far worse camera , bigger bezels).
