Quiet a surprisingly large amount of Xiaomi / Japan fans on this comment thread - quick to bash anyone who disagrees.
It's a nice phone but Phillipe Starck isn't Japanese
The screen is IPS
Despite what they claim this is not the most powerful phone in the world today
The battery size is 1000Mah less than its predecessor
Don't even get me started on the quality of the single back camera
The office renders do exaggerate the scale of the actual bezel sizes which means the company has an issue with them
There's no expandable storage
No headphone jack
I'm interested to see what their audio quality is like - hopefully an improvement on last year's model.

I recommend you go to Cuba, they perform miracles there, at least you will be able to see the bezel-less Xiaomi in full glory again!

If the design is so awesome why do they always put up fraudulent renders? The actual phone has huge bezels and is indistinguishable from the cheap knock-offs the likes of Doogee, Leagoo, Bluboo, Maze and what have you. Shame on you Xiaomi.

They also have Phone that turns out to be robots to. Then using there phone to Henshin (Transform), Kamen Rider (Mask Rider), Super Sentai (more known as cheesy power ranger on the western side) using flip and smart phone to Henshin.
They have those huge Mecha to fight villains and Gundam and Hentai to hahaha!
Japan is Japan. the most high tech country of all.

sharp did not sell ? heh in Japan Sharp has been making no bezel phones for long time .. the Crystal is not the only one.
it is very popular inside Japan. and sharp does not care much for international sales. like other companies inside Japan.
fujetsu also have alot of phones and only are sold inside Japan.
NEC as well ...
and every phone in japan is water reistance EVERY phone not only smart phones no even old phones all were water resistant .. from the 2008
but they keep the good things to japan. they hate what USA did to them in hiroshima and nagasaki they never forgot
