Once you go cellular on the smart watch, you never want to go back to normal. This should have been the case right from the beginning.

Cellular on a watch is yet another example of Apple fans calling functionality not on Apple products a gimmick, yet when Apple copies it is the best thing since sliced bread. It's Pathetic.

The telcos loves it. More data usage. But then again, the stats is meaningless, as the launch is not global yet.

talking one hour to your watch in one day, i say good luck too, sounds quite long time to me?

Im sure using watch as a phone is meant for short calls if you just can't use your phone, seriously who would want to make long calls from watch.

Remember 1 reason because cellular are more is because its cellular capabilities and the other, is that the normal one is just aluminium instead of stainless steel

Force Majeure, 19 Sep 2017I wouldn't use one if you gave it to me. I need a 4.7"i said similar things in the past but then i ordered an apple watch, was mentally prepared to not be satisfied and send it back after 2 weeks but instead it took less than a day before i decided to keep it. The customer satisfaction numbers are the highest ever for any device and its easy to see why once you try one. Apple Watch is by itself a major reason to switch to iPhone and i do know people who did just that.
You dont need 4.7 inches to control your music, speak on the phone while driving (all AW models works well as handsfree in fairly noisy environments, the speaker is clear), read messages, check account balance, check in at the airport or for train/bus tickets, or to pay in the grocery store. Sure it can be problem for other watches, not many companies bother to support samsung and android wear watches but AW is supported even by small local companies in banking, transport and whatever. If you think its useless you couldnt be more wrong, you must be the type of person who would have said the same about cellphones in the early 1990ies, "wouldnt use it if you gave me one".

So these current superphones and smartwatches will be phased out.

Instead we'll have superwatches, where the inside will shine a hologram into the palms of your hands.
Then you can interact with the UI, watch videos, or use your fingers for video games.

I know a lot of people who hate to put on regular contact lenses and regular in-ear pieces. So getting a bulkier technology infused one will turn away more people. However, I do see a case for VR-AR in the distant future.... it likely WON'T be pushed into obscurity in the next four years as some people say.
