Genza, 21 Sep 2017what a joke the leader in android world but they can't even... moreIt's not that easy, Samsung has a lot of work to do to bring the update. Best thing is, unlike Apple, Samsung actually brings substantial updates like new features too. The S7 last year got the iphone 7+'s portrait mode via the Nougat update(while apple says you need a dual camera to do it and won't put it in their single camera phones, not even the 8. What a joke)
It's the last year anyway, Oreo brings a different update structure with it, which will lower the time required for updating by a lot from the next version on. It's well worth the wait.

It is obvious, no official statement for beta... as we know it is first for developers then kicks the public beta and at least 2 months later there will be official release. So to me, the public average user .. this oreo will come around January ... as always the case with customized androids...
