Nishant, 22 Sep 2017same old boring design.... someone should ask them to stop ... moreAnd give me the at least 10 reasons why Sony is the most contributed third-party OEM on Android 8.0 Oreo development by Google , from alpha to final by giving LDAC codec firmware to the OS's bluetooth , so every OEM can use it for almost free , fixed 250 bugs , and bringing 30 new features ,although you see it Sony as so-called "useless" company ? What last LG and Samsung contribution or Xiaomi to Google for its OS ? Lags ? Even it's not the biggest company in the world , they lead a lot of innovations . Proof ? Sony invented 3 stacked DRAM on their latest flagship to do it's Super Slow-Mo . Now Samsung also following the steps of Sony , although only 2 stacked (and yes , i admitted it too tho , every company needs to copy everyone to other company to gather its success , even Sony) .
If you can't answer , you should stop b*tching and spamming Sony post on GSMArena for no reason if you hate it . As you know , Sony is one of the most developer-friendly OEM who opened-widely to other contributor to do and add something with their devices (XZP , XZs , XZ and other) as they put it to Sony AOSP or Sony Open Device Program and even better , Sony giving them the steps to do the AOSP . They also offers an official way to unlock bootloader to its Xperia device from 2011 (yes , when Sony Ericsson still exist) to 2017 . Do i need more explanation ?

Sony made best devices with Mediatek processors among all makers, till now. I am so eager to test it: cameras, speakers, waterproof, 4 gigs of ram, screen. Design might be classier but it worth the money for sure. Sony is awesome!

My budget is always around 20k so I thought I won't waste my money on Sony after using Sony so which is still going strong I bought gionee s6s and asus max 3 both didn't last even 6months.. So I'm using my sp again and thought of buying xa1 but its battery life scare me. So I found this a better choice for me.

Use poor mediatek SOCs in your phones to reduce costs then set prices as high as the best phones in the category. Clearly, they are trying hard to make short term profits at the expense of their customers satisfaction.

AnonD-167648, 21 Sep 2017Hasn't Sony gotten the memo that we don't care about megapi... moreActually , there already stopped the in-depth development of getting bigger megapixels of their camera sensor / imaging-sensor / camera module since the development of their latest sensor . 23 MP (actually 25 MP , but limited to 23 due software) of its IMX300 will be their last time upgrading their camera MP from it's predecessor . With the 19 MP of its IMX400 launched in XZ Premium and XZs , it's mark of Sony first downgrading of MP and proves that Sony taking notes from critics , haters and fans . Even 12 MP , the most popular MP in the market , now implied in their IMX400 (don't know about previous IMX300 and others) .
Just to let you know , Sony is the only company who likes to compromised the software limits of a CPU / OS with their hardware beyond-limit (ex. SD650 only can max at 21 MP , but Xperia X and X Compact has 23 MP within and running just fine , or 4K implementation on Z5 Premium where Android 5.1.1 Lollipop couldn't run anything in 4K screen , but Sony can found the way out although was limited . Not even Samsung could do that)
Now , they have much smaller MP phone in their flagship starting with IMX 400 with its 19 MP , but with twice bigger pixels , much better features on (960fps@720p Super Slow-Mo , Predictive Capture , 3 stacked DRAM (128 MB) , 3D Creator , and much more new things here) and much more things that most camera sensor couldn't do at that time , even till this statement was written on GSMArena Comment Section
But , instead axing the 23 MP of it's IMX300 sensor at all , they're giving into their mid-range series except L1 series (XA1 , XA1 Ultra and XA1 Plus) . They're only do few fixed , tweaks and updating their former flagship sensor , the IMX300 into a better one , although the result won't be far than the Z5 series , X Perf , X , Xc and XZ (still great one , but not amazing such as Samsung , Pixel , LG [i admitted]) .
However , the rumour of Apple will using much bigger MP on their next iPhone of its camera module / sensor from 12 MP since 6S , to speculated 16 MP in iPhone 9 . That occurred following Sony decided to downgrade the MP after they taking notes from fans , haters and critics since then . How funny it is , when everything is going upside down...... Sony could have its last laugh if this become true in near future .
