"Either that, or DxO’s testing protocols aren’t in Sony’s favor" -- Now that's rich! DxO protocols always heavily favored Sony's cameras, even when they had pretty obvious limitations that made them worst in anything other than perfect lighting (vs. the competition with lower scores).
If anything, the truth is starting to surface. What I want now is also a OP5 re-review, as that high score was also a very poor joke (don't get me wrong, the camera wasn't bad, just wasn't the "reference" the score implied -- same as with the Sony camera's scores up until now).

Not trying to nitpick or be a fanboy but Dxomark camera test involves zoom and bokeh now.Doesn't this automatically means telephoto lens gets higher score? So to get high score you can't go wide angle or telephoto for that second lens.Personally I love the implementation of LG and Huawei.And this seems pretty unfair to them.

AnonD-85136, 23 Sep 2017Dxomark is like a sh**t.. Oh, well ok...lets see...before, on the old protocol, all the sony fanboys would forever point us at their higher dxo scores. Now that their cherished devices are scoring lower they have all sorts of accusations and excuses. DxO updated their wording in their review this morning...however the score remains the same and it really is a true reflection of the camera capabilities...if you even bother reading their entire review you'll see the camera is marred with issues. Live with it.

Exactly... They have new protocol. Which means one of them is to bash Sony. I will never put my trust in DxOmark again. They just biased, same as every other site that it biased towards Sony.

Although I think this DxO thing is not that accurate, I'm very surprised to see XZ Premium in such low score. Even devices from 2015 score better.
