I asked Sunrise is it a price for sim free and got this:
the prices for our devices are always independent from our subscription plans 🙂
Yes - you are only not able to make a device plan - so you have to pay it at once.

I find it surprising that Sunrise is getting the phone say mid October and digitec only begins shipping on the 10th November. I wonder if other phone providers will be getting it sooner as well? Have LG stated their European release date anywhere yet?

So I could walk in... moreIf that's not possible you can become a new costumer of Sunrise and get a subscription for 15.-CHF if you are under 30 years of age, or 20.-CHF if you are older and get the LG V30 with it. You can make a number porting from your actual mobile provider, if you don't want to have two different numbers by two different operators. Not making marketing for Sunrise at all, just mentioning the possibilities. If you can get it SIM-FREE without becoming a costumer of our company, that would be absolutely fine for me :)

As far as I know you can buy a smartphone in a Sunrise shop and pay all for once sim-free. But I will ask again on Monday and inform you here in the comments, if that's possible.

At that price you might as well get a phone from a more reputable brand like Samsung or Apple and I'm sure most consumers will.

£800 launch it be around the £550 if not cheaper By Feb next year, LG phones in the UK never hold their price for long I bought my G6 for under £500, and could of got it cheaper if i imported it.

Wait until February when it drops below $500. I personally am not interested because V20 has removable battery, IR blaster, and metal rear. I dislike glass backs and can feel sticky. I'm on T-Mobile and do like to see the V30 being compatible to their newer frequency.
I'm actually at a dilemma between it and the iPhone X. I'm going to sell like eight of my gadgets to get out Verizon (too costly) while paying off two phones from both networks. Selling off my Pixel and S7e. The X has glass back too but the silver/white rear doesn't show fingerprints as much after checking the iPhone 8 Plus in gold or similar to my silver Pixel on the upper rear.
I wished T-Mobile's V30 came in Moroccan blue because my preference for V20 was silver and it only came in titan (matte black). If I don't pick up either new phones, that's fine too.
LG G5 (Browser), left holster
LG V20 (Phone), right holster
Apple iPhone SE (GPS), car
Need at least three to make it through the day. If I ended up getting the X, I can leave both LGs at home and use both iPhones for work. This prolongs the LGs because I won't kill their batteries every day. Android & iOS in tandem. Haters need to stop picking sides. I'm starting to like iOS again thanks to Google Photos app. Both platforms are great.

Happy I bought my Mate 9 Pro (although slightly older) and didn't wait for this. Would never have bought it at this price.

The fact CPW has exclusivity in the UK means I won't be buying one for the forseeable future. Especially at that price!
