Another leaked screen protector hints at massive bezels on the upcoming Pixel 2

Well, at this stage, the probability that the image is the real deal is definitely high. Basically it is as it was (still is) predicted, although yes the bezels of the standard are a bit more than predicted or wished. So until now, everything indicates that they will be built with the same philosophy of their respective brands. In other words, the standard Pixel will be quite similar to the U11, and the XL to the V30. But moreover, it seems that the standard will be a bit less than the U11 (hopefully not), while the XL will be more similar to the V30 (obviously apart the dual cam, etc).

But, let's hope that finally both (mostly the XL) will be great. Plus considering that apart from the V30, iPhone 10 & Note 8 (etc), after just a while we'll see the Mate 10 (mostly the Pro) and that as we know, Huawei is stating that "it's not a smartphone, but an intelligent machine". OKAY, primarily it's just a strategic marketing, etc., but I think and it seems that it will be really promising, etc. So let's wait a bit more and eventually see (what is what).

    I would like to update to Pixel but I don't have huge hands, nor do I like horrid huge bezels.

      I'm guessing Google being greedy here.
      They could have easily put smaller bezels on pixel 2, but it needs newer lcd panels.
      In order to cut costs they must be using older LCD panels with big strips or bezels which might be getting for cheap from hTc (maybe their leftover HTC 10 panels or so)
      I guess this is a trick OEMs use.

      LG makes good looking phones with minimum bezels, they did it way early (not as early as Xperia ZL tho)

      You cant expect a good looking phones from hTc.

              Was actually looking forward to Pixel2. But now with these massive bezels, I would rather go with S8.

                It doesn't kill it for me. Those bezels can fit better speakers, a bigger battery and as you can see, a better front camera

                  Is it me or do the screen protectors look very similar in size? I'm hoping the XL version isn't that much bigger than the regular pixel
