08 June, 2011
It was only a matter of time - dual-core droids are getting cheaper. The Motorola Atrix 4G has dropped to $99.99 on AT&T with a 2-year contract, down from the $199.99 that they originally asked for it...

i just say this because this is the basis and experience when i used to work with them (AT&T VRIGIN MOBILE VERIZON NEXTEL TMOBILE BOOST OPTUS SPRINT OPTUS TELSTRA TPG DODO VIRGIN CRICKET AND ETC.)have you tried to look the price on the on the store personally and compared it on the price that online stores have...cheaper..right?because youre locked-in in to a contract..so you are obligated to pay the service and excess charges...

believe me its a marketing strategies...if youre not convinced try to visit WWW.WIREFLY.COM.....

Other phones started priced at 99 dollars or less!

That is a bargain...Although here in the UK Orange are doing some great deals on the phone. I think the phone been goven a hard time in some reviews....

As a stand alone phone it's great. With the added docks you get another dimension added to the functionality but for me this is not the strongest selling point.

The phone is a dream to use.....as far as my own experience is concerned.

Got mine with data on an 18 month contract for free....they also give the Bluetooth Keyboard, Mouse and HD Dock free as part of a promo.

The issue being that supply and delivery of the pack is becoming a big let down. Looks like Orange and Motorola can't meet the demand....I hope they sort it quick as I really wanna hook up my phone!!!....Been waiting too long for mine and have escalated this to Orange on a number of occassions.....I won't hold mt breath ;O)

now i know the reason why it dropped into $99 from $199.00..

Its a marketing strategies that youll get this kind of special offer through the online shopping (i guess..)because it has a INSTANT SAVINGS DISCOUNT.within 6 mos the user should still be commited to the carrier because if the cx didnt follow the contract where they avail the handset they will be paying for the ISD (INSTANT SAVINGS DISCOUNT)..because online stores earned their money through commisions..so let say the user still be on the contract more than 6 mos thats the time that online store earned their commissions.now if the user doesnt proceed into the contract wihtout 6 mos thats the time that cx needs to pay for the ISD and for the termination fee.

got it..quite complicated yet still simple..
