Looks pretty hard to swallow a $1300 price tag in Canada for these specs... Maybe the oneplus6 will be better

Cassy O, 04 Oct 2017Downgraded from AMOLED to LG's P-OLED!? Too bad. https:/... moreSo you find one picture of a screen with light bleeding and automatically assume all screens are bad.
LG's P-OLED and Samsung's AMOLED are very similar tech, differently branded for obvious reasons. If correctly calibrated an average user won't be able to tell the difference.

Terrible dimensions if true... The side bezels are worse than the Pixel XL (same width screen, only taller) and the height is taller. The leaked pixel 2 images look to have slightly worse side bezels too. If they had kept the phone sizes the same and managed to add waterproofing I could have lived with it, but making them larger to add nothing makes it just too hard for me to go with them. I want a google phone but their designs are just terrible.

Downgraded from AMOLED to LG's P-OLED!? Too bad.

XL is maybe good in business, when you can hide your phone in pocket but for daily use it's too big!

Hmm, a bit of mixed emotions. But let's wait a bit more until we'll know the final confirmed specs, etc.

msm5, 04 Oct 2017Snapdragon 835 is old now wtf! It's the oldest and the fastest on android.. Qualcomm hasn't yet released a new chip. Mediatek is out of question and huawei chips are not as performant than qualcomms
The pixel always comes late (4months before a new SOC arrives) which in terms of marketing is a bad move from google. I bet it's to reduce expenses and make more profit.

Not bad LG, is a Dual Sim phone despite one SIM won't be used outside some countries making it Single Sim? Neat.

At least, it will be usable as a Single Sim on other countries.

msm5, 04 Oct 2017Snapdragon 835 is old now wtf!Old? Well if u say that, may I know a newer and more powerful chipset from them? Stupid...

Custom chip for image processing? Feels like reborn 808. Let's see if Huawei's AI can do the same. Feels like mission impossible for Sony. Will be interesting.

Google should expand their smartphone business to other countries as well though it could take a long time
