Before 1 week i have perchased this 2nd hand handset 5 months old for 4500rs in belgaum.

Its a nice phone bcoz it is have some nice features like nice screen touch, camera, auto light off during a call, auto opening a msg when you open lock.

But it is does'nt have some some important features like
1.massage group(u can't send msgs at once to everyone via group).
2.Its does'nt have zooming during camera
3.And the biggest problem is that its sound(music volume) if you play for ex. rodies 9 theme song (manmani)u can't hear that song even u touch ur cell to your ear.
4.And u can't use ur sim contacts to use this you need to copy that contact to phone memory. Hence u can't exchange ur phone with ur frnds.
5.You can't send videos and can't watch at full screen size even if u converted for its screen size 400*240. Its does not support youtube video and mp4 video. for this features u can buy nokia x2 01 it suports online youtube videos,mp4 suppot, and its price is too cheep 3500rs only. i compared this two phones but i will go for x2 01.
6. main thing it does'nt have 3g.

7. And the BIGGEst problem i m suffering daily is when you get 2-3 msgs u have to search who sent u the msg suppose aditya sent u a msg then u need to chek the date in its conversion.

8.One thing is useful for that i got to know today only that is u can zoom yours photo in albums. touch the screen(on photo) for few seconds then scroll to the front side it will be zoom.

After all its not useful for college students it does not have some features which we need daily.

If you get any solutions on this problems then let me know plz...

A200 is the most robust feature phone system around much better then NOKIA's S30 and S40 or their touch S40

its got a great file manager for blue-tooth transfer and good free java apps and games and wifi

I think these 2 phones look spectacular! I'm glad to see SE still making this sort of phone without a major OS on it but giving them lots of awesome features for the user.

LOL bought my arc about 3 weeks ago... I was not sure if I was doing the right thing as my old cybershoot was still good but I love it now!
this 2 seem very nice specially if you consider that «dumb» phones are a bit cheaper, sometimes lighter, more specialized and with greater battery life. Plus SonyEricsson UI is normally very good in this phones so If I hadn't bought my Arc I would consider this 2.
              Great Job!

They are actually good looking, but that is it really. Just saw a review in youtube and both mobiles have the very same rubbish, sluggish and slow responsive SO from the old Yendo.
Sony Ericsson should fix this "big mistake" if they want decent sales!
I'll pass. So dissapointed. I expected something better, but the company won't learn from its own mistakes...

SonyEricsson feature-phones running on proprietary A200 OS. A200 have a great in-built file manager, in-built real multitasking (like WinMo/Symbian phones and better as Android (iPhone is not comparable :):)) and lot of downloadable free apps. SE feature-phones qualify for hard working like smartphones. I have A200 running SE, Android 2.2 running HTC, WinMo 6.5.3 running SE, some Symbian S60/proprietary S40/S30 running Nokias too and I can compare them.

Dude what those simpletons don't get is that specs are useless if the phone has serious issues. Quality comes first! It's so damn stupid buying a dual core phone that will suffer from yellowish spots on its screen or the death grip or WiFi issues or what ever.

It's a shame people don't use their brains nowadays. Yes, I'm convinced that the Arc is the best andriod phone because it's blazing fast as dual core phones, the quality is top notch, the price is affordable and it doesn't suffer from any horrible issues, like the ones we are reading about nowadays.

What's more ironic is that till ice cream comes over, dual cores mean nothing. So, for now it's a big gimmick that comes with issues as well. Those phones are really giving android a bad name!

Btw, Im getting tired of reading and seeing comments that Xperia arc is a failure. So many persons getting hyped over Samsung, LG, etc because the phones have dual core. Comparing the arc with those.
Yes its fast, but do they really need it? Or just for bragging?

Sexy looking arc versus the brick type? Hmmmmm

For me dual core phones are a fail! You can keep bragging and barking about them all day long, I don't care.

Samsung GS II with the yellowish spots on the screen and the htc sensation with the death grip and WiFi issues. LG op 2 also suffers from constantly rebooting issues.

Yes the Xperia Arc may not be the best specs wise but atleast it's the best quality android phone so far! It does the job superbly with no problems what so ever. And since google announced that you can't benefit from dual cores with 2.2 + 2.3 versions, this even make dual cores look even more pathetic, and proves again that the media is brain washing people, and too bad many are falling for such thing.

Anyhow, these are featured phones, with a great + basic os, and they are affordable and do the job! Yes no stupid yellow spots, and no death grips and no need to worry about the battery.

They are phones that actually works as phones! Good job s/e, seriously u are the best.

De Xperia Pro will probably cost around 350~400$ while the txt pro will cost probably 150~200 or even less, its a big difference.

Its like a freakin rat race...this phone comes out with a ghz phone, the next phone in the 2 months time comes out with a dual core...i am guessing in some months time you will see a quad core phone...but the big question is what for?....what do you do on the phone that needs so much processing power? Now i am not an Apple fan boy, but the original iPhone although it does not have a ghz processor it performs and out does almost every phone on the market today in terms of usability. It is infact all about the software.
