Well, a lot of my friends use to charge their apples in the day constantly. Not to with A9. Just so much to like with it. And it's pretty too if that's the word. Updates, well, first ones were on time. I don't get hooked up on must have now. They all come through when they do and it is not as if the updates are imperative, so I am fine with the timing. It is like having an apple but with the freedom of Android. It's strong and fast as the day it was bought. Proud HTC owner on this one. I want a Nokia 9 but hard to put this one away yet.

It's One M7 heralded a change in the Android industry. And the One M8 was a beauty, very highly rated. However, in recent years HTC has been inconsistent at best, and downright self-destructive at worst.
For example, the HTC 10 was a solidly built phone, but their recent glass-back phones have been shown to be not so strong. Their removal of the useful 3.5 mm jack is pretty sad.
And you say you have the One A9. If you are happy with it good for you.

But it got a abysmal endurance rating of 46 hours and not to mention, HTC broke it's promise of 15-day updates. Forget 15 days, it didn't even keep up by 15 weeks. Now tell me, how can I trust someone who breaks their promises.....

Pixels 2 will be sold respectively 800€ and 940€ where I live. There is absolutly no way I would be able sell it for more than 550€/650€ a year later. This is a devaluation of at least 250€.
On the other side, the S8 is at 520€ on amazon and I'm pretty sure it will cost more than 270€ in one year.

And i think the S8 is a way superior phone than the pixel. The samsung does everything a pixel does. If you want fast updates then go to the pixel.
I got smarter, i got the oneplus 5 and once the updates are gone i will go to XDA and download the most recent Roms for the oneplus 5.
Which means i got a phone which is equivalent to the new pixel. Same performance.
It doesn't go under water and it doesn't have dual speakers. But hey, i got it for almost half the price that of a pixel

Google tactics to play exclusive games. But to be honest it lacks that iPhone crazy vibe, plus overpriced even it has best camera, Samsung top dogs or LG v30 looks more worth it than those two

I would get the smaller Pixel 2.. but it is sooo HTC like, so ugly!!! How would anyone can get it over Galaxy S8 in 2017!!! At least LG tried there best with Pixel 2 XL, but because of the stupid SQUEEZE function, they had to put on some side bezel.

I just sold my Pixel I paid $650 for, for $500. Only iPhone holds its value that well after 12 months. The phone is a workhorse. Best camera.
The Pixel is the best phone I’ve had. And that covers a lot. Currently using Samsung GS8. Retired the GS7. Now the wait begins for the Pixel 2...

The phone is interesting on paper but its horrible design and high price kill it for me. Google is not Samsung. You won't find it with 30% off launch price in 3 months. They ll keep high margins even though it hurts their sells a lot.
I'd much rather buy a cheap S8 which is 10 times sexier.

2. Sony - Excuse: Better sound output. (They already has a headphone with built in DAC. Sounds quite nice. A bit bass heavy tho)
3. LG - They'll probably never ditch it. Or they'll be the last one to do so. Right now they are the only mobile company that are catering to true audiophiles.
