Anonymous, 06 Oct 2017I updated the watch while my iPhone was on 11.01 no problem... moreI don't own an iphone, do you know if I can update apple watch-3 using my ipad?

The up date on the new watch did not work. I am now loosing calls left and right. ?

The update did not fix it. It made it worse. I am now loosing calls left and right. It worked better before the I did the update.

I updated the watch while my iPhone was on 11.01 no problem. However, the update for the watch has to initiated by the phone. You can not update the watch without the phone.

Why need to download iOS 11.0.2 on my iphone to fix a bug on apple wach 3 ?
Does that mean that i have to buy an iphone otherwise no updates/no fixes/no phonecalls with apple watch-3 ???
