I both had Xiaomi, Huawei, Sony and Samsung but the selfies they made were NOT much different or even better than VIVO and OPPO at that price range.

They are popular not coz of decent products, but rather they pay high profit margins to their sellers than any other brands.in Indian context at least, they have set up service centers at every nook and corners (and made money with maintaining min spares stocks as prime condition). Indians think having many service centers is an indicator for good product. But in reality VIVO OPPO knows that their products would need frequent service, hence they have set up so many centers.

Here in gsmarena we can read and see how "rumored" Oppo Find 9 could looks like and we want to know from Oppo if it will ever be released...
[EDIT] Now the status is "Canceled" instead of "Rumored" so we know Oppo Find 9 will never appear which is very sad :-(

They just announced the Oppo F3 back in May 2017. Instead of working on new so-called "Selfie Experts" every few months, why doesn't Oppo work on the long-awaited successor to the Oppo Find 7, which hasn't been given any attention since 2014.....

Are 2:1 really so great, that all companies are using them?! It's frustrating enough for me to not to have 16:9 screen filled, with pictures or videos...
I use a Ultra wide monitor for my PC, but it's 29", even then it's sometimes uncomfortable to have black bars. The ultra-wide aspect ratios destroy the very thing they are made for - immersion... it's great for gaming and ultra-wide movies though, but on a small mobile screen, I think it's a bad idea.

Funny that they are marketing it as selfie expert as if selfies are only things that people do.
And above all in India people buy it like crazy thinking more MP means better.
Crap is all that OPPO VIVO sells.

Just based on the ridiculous pixel count of the cameras, you know they are crap.
The rest of the phone looks good though, but a spec sheet will be nice to see.
