Here comes the competitor of N95. Honestly i'm a very big fan of SE but with this new model i hate the idea how they design the keypad. I find it so hard to use. :)I like it though.

If you like N95 then why re here ? You shouldbe at Nokia page. Go there. We love SONY so we'll buy it. This phone is still not at market and N95 is there. How can you say that K850i is bad even when you havn't felt it at your palm.

K850 photo quality will be comparable to N95, not better or worse, you'll see, that is official statement from SE developers.
And people, K850 is rather uncomfortable with its tiny keys and strange D-Pad, not to mention overall functionality is far behind N95, while price is going to be the same.
You saw how last year competitors K800 and N73 did, worldwide sales of the N73 are almost two times higher even despite the fact that it appeared on the market later than K800.
Now N95 is available for months, have killer set of features and no single competing phone on the market, that is why it is selling like hot cakes, even with its high price.
SE don't aimed to compete with N95, their K850 is behind in every feature.
Mobile-review wrote that 5 megapixels of K850 will be equal to 3 megapixel of K800 but with higher resolution, that's it.
I don't understand how you people even haven't hold K850 in your hands can say that its camera and everything will be better than N95, it's childish.

To people complaining about the comparison between Nokia´s N95 and SE K850i: I think it is right to compare both devices. No doubt the N95 is amazing, but would anybody buy the N95 instead the K850i knowing the N95´s camera (not the video) really performs bad. I am sure not. So I am waiting for the first review comparing both cellphones. It is not difficult to guess who will be the winner. So, to me it does not matter how great the N95 is and to talk about the amazing specifications it has, when it fails to offer a great camera which I consider the most important issue for such a device. Both cellphones are according to me smartphones. This is my humble opinion. Have a nice day.

most of the time here in philippines when i visit a mobile-phone retail stores in malls etc. , the retailers have already developed a perception that SE was more reliable than nokias and that was proven by so many times already in number of returns whereas N95-- which ws the nokias flasgship tends to be so unreliable and needs to be fixed software wise(i don't know if novices would be required to update their firmware themselves lol), though hardware(i.e. slider and battery) really sucks. so some novice buyers are now also recomended to buy SE as their first phone. they said that SE quality is really good and the returns are so low compared to nokias.

Do not take the sample pictures from K850 too seriously... We are looking to a prototype phone... there's a video at youtube that shows a user tring to set the autofocus on... and appears "service unavaliable"... so... they're still working on this...

I agree with PjYf. This phone is a Cybershot model and its main attraction is its high quality camera.

(Sorry for my english...I'm french)Why can't we compare N95 with k850? It's a smartphone so what? Nokia never said it's was a PDA or something like that, the Nserie is not for professional usage (there is Eserie for that) It's a multimedia computer (being a smartphone is just a plus) and has or will have the same price tag as K850. Those who buy the N73, N95 (and lately n82) are not different from k800-k850 buyers, they are mostly geeks or so who whant the best technologies in a single device. I'm sure that most k850 fan would have been happy if k850 has smartphone abilities... Until N82 is announced (and I hope none doubt that nokia's aim by releasing this phone (with xenon flash) is to compete with k850) N95 is the competitor in the market!
