I saw in the presentation slides for the Kirin 970 that it now decodes 384khz just like the s835, so i don't see why they'd bother to improve that if they were removing the jack.
Because it's huawei, it won't have the telephoto camera which is what I really want but at least it has a flat screen

Not necessarily. All the numerous rumors have conflicting information about not only the Mate 10 but also the Mate 10 Pro.
We'll just have to see what (actually) gets released in a week.
I, for one, do not want the 2:1 aspect ratio - which is completely out of place for actual media consumption.
16:9 is the actual, practical, aspect ratio - to mirror content, and also our own 16:9 televisions - whether 1080p or 4K.
1 more week to wait.....

Wait a minute, if i Mate 10 actually has 5.9 inch screen with 2:1 aspect ratio, its screen width will be equivalent to only 5.4 inch!!
Isn't that too small for Mate series?

As long as i know from the G2, LG is always copying Samsung, from the UX and some features. And LG UX has more lags compare to Samsung's, some delays at oppening apps (experienced it with G5 and G6). And as long as i know LG is cheaper alternative for people who thinks Samsung is expensive.
