Drue, 11 Oct 2017Why I haven't received any updates since I bought this Mate... moreWhich variant do you have? I read from XDA-Developers that there would be one variant of the Mate 9 that hardly has gotten any updates. The Chinese Mate 9 gets the updates the fastest, then the international one (which I also own).

    It's not working here ... We're stuck with B186
It's the story with all the OS when it comes to middle East support!

Damn, this is not something I expected from Huawei. :o Not probably going to put my Mate 9 through this beta-program, but a really nice gesture from them anyway. And yes, this phone has gotten like.. 5-6 updates during the 7 months of using it - WAY better than I ever could imagine. Huawei isn't really known to be the one to update their phones that often.

Rich watarious, 10 Oct 2017In fact this is true, Huawei is the best in the world for b... moreTotally agree, I moved to Huawei P9 from Samsung, not regrets.
The phone is responsive, and I would recommend it.
The bad things I don't like a lot is the battery life and the audio jack quality (fixed with equalizer from play store)

In fact this is true, Huawei is the best in the world for bringing updates for their flagship phones to their customers. Well not neccessarily flagship phones but their phones the go well globally. We are waiting for oreo programme updates for Honor 6X and Honor 8, Honor 9, P9 and P10. These phones are doing so well globally and giving great name to Huawei in the world business of smart phones. Good job Huawei.

Huawei is doing well regarding the updates for it's flagships.
Do you guys have any info on when the P9 is gonna get Oreo? Or is it even getting it?
