Even gsmarena review says it provides some great photos while you only have to say all bad about it. Tell me one time you have supported Nokia products. People like you are reading this article to point out what mistakes Nokia supporters make in their comments. But you haven't tried correct and to point out what the other person who was a Nokia has said. He tells that Sony provides Android 8 update while not any phone that has been released before Android 8 except Google phones has not been updated to Oreo. Only XZ compact which comes out with is the only one with Android Oreo. And xiaomi ma1 it is not even updated to Android Oreo even though it is a Android one project phone. And keep in mind no xiaomi phones that is with their ui has not been updated to 7.1.2.

That's the last thing anyone will even think of. As long as there is a button to click, it's going to be fine.

Hi, to those of you who have upgraded Your Nokia 6 to version 7.1.2, please do post your findings.
I'm still with v.7.1.1 and the v.7.1.2 has been available now for the duration of 12h and 32 minutes already. But I'm extremely scary to make the upgrade since it is like a jump into a blackhole, there is no way back from there.
My last two phones were v.4.3 when I bough them and they were great, had no problems what so ever. Then the v.4.4.2 came and I foolishly upgraded, it was a very very very bad upgrade for the users but anyhow the phones still worked. Then came v.5.0 and I eagerly upgraded, only to find out that the phones were rebooting themselves about two times a day and also their behavior was severely erratic in many other ways. And the v.5.1 never appeared. So that upgrade practically bricked my two phones (and I never ever buy anything that bears the name of that brand).

Second, I have nothing against Nokia or HMD or else I would not have spend £499 on one of their products in the first place.
Third, my comments which you have mentioned were regarding the Nokia 8 (this article is about the 6, which I have never used), and in my experience the camera on the 8 is slow, painfully so in fusion mode (where it merges images from both sensors). Other problems are that the focus system is inconsistent with its accuracy, there is no exposure compensation or AF/AE lock option, the manual mode is a joke and the portrait mode practically destroys detail in shots (take one, them zoom in on the finished image, you will quickly see what I mean).
So again, no I have nothing against them but the camera software on the 8 is in dire need of fixing. If they get that done then they have a great product on their hands.
Oh and my post to you was merely to point out the fact that calling others ignorant whilst not potentially knowing all the facts yourself is perhaps not the best move.

ME, 12 Oct 2017Nokia 7.1.2 is not the way... try to speed up your updates,... moreAre you okie? May I ask what model are you using? Nokia 6 was launched back on the Jan of this year so which Xperia Model that commenced on Jan this year was running Oreo? Besides than that may I ask which Xperia Old Model gets an UI enhancements renovated be it a major or minor updates? Cut the crab as Xperia only provides accurate monthly security patches. Other than that, it provides totally zero new features!

Really nokia well done, you are doing such a great thing. I have android one mi a1, even it didn't not receive October security patch level yet but nokia 6 got it.

I don't go and bad-mouth phones just because I don't like it. You really have got something against Nokia. You have said that Nokia 8 camera is so slow. But there are YouTube reviews showing otherwise. I just don't get it . If you don't like it. Don't waste our time. And certainly don't worry about our money. About the update I Know I may not have been 100% correct. But then what? Nokia is doing what they said they will do. They're sending updates as promised. That's something that most phone owners can't say.

Hmm why didn't they just wait to release oreo, there's nothing major in 7.1.2. Btw you can judge a companies update cycle when they've only recently started doing android phones, I bet in a year or 2 time it ain't the same and you'll have the same people saying Nokia gives best updates complaining about lack of updates

The only UI change was for lockcreen.. it was changed to stock android lock screen. microphone on the left, lock/fingerprint icon on the middle and camera on the right.. Also ROUNDED GOOGLE SEARCH BAR :)
There's background activity manger added.. you can see that on SETTINGS => BATTERY

Nokia 6 is the only phone that i... moreThank you. i forgot to mention to him that it is an Android ONE and Nokia 6 is just like any other OEM. but guess what, it's very consistent with the updates. from monthly security patches and this 7.1.2 update. No other OEM has updated their phone this fast and consistent. Sony is catching up but still slower than Nokia 6, but time will tell with major OS upgrade though..Right now, Nokia has very good image regarding OS updates..

And my Galaxy S7 is still on 7.0 with security patches arriving 3 or even 4 months down the line.
Seriously if the Nokia 6 weren't this large I'd have "downgraded" already.

Might I remind you that xiaomi ma1 is a Google 1 phone which should be updated by Google. And it is not Oreo out of the box even though it is maintained by Google. That should be a shame considering Sony is giving Oreo out of box even it is not a Google phone.
