AnonD-696124, 13 Oct 2017ye guys, keep buying samsung devices. the profit margin is ... moreFunny, the numbers dictate otherwise. It's clear the price-hikes of the last 2 generations only were for the profits as costs seem to be the similar. Samsung used to be value for money but not anymore. Gone is the outstanding featureset exchanged for less and useless features and supposedly luxury materials.

I couldn't care less if samsung were earning the equivalent of every person's annual income this month or any month or if they earned less than a common peddler's daily coin. As long as they nurture the note line and give updates to improve their beast of a note8. The rest of their phones can bite the dust for all i care.

That should be more than enough to pay for the CEO lawyers fees.

If you want quality, you buy Samsung. Of course it's the most expensive.
Why would anyone buy a midranger like the Iphones is beyond my comprehension.
If Apple cut the price of their gadets in half, one could take into consideration buying them, then they would have a good price/performance ratio. You could get a toy like the i8 for 2-300 bucks. But you shell out 800-1000 for it. Then you are not the sharpest tool in the shed ...
Or you go for the real deal, and pay for maximum quality, features and perfectness, and buy a Sammy.
                      You choose.

                        Well done to Samsung then.

If Apple suddenly should forget who it is and reduce prices to half then Samsung would stand out as the money grubbing one and sales might decline. So Samsung wants Apple to charge a lot. Besides, good to hear Samsung is making money. Then there room for expensive development for the benefit of all.
