Imperator Neubaticus, 14 Oct 2017Wouldn't get the v30 even if it were free. Or any lg produc... moreBut cared enough to make a comment here. Get ripped off by some other brand then like crApple and Shamsung.
This T-Mobile deal is to sell more lines you don't need. Your bill will pile up. V30 will be under $400 in like four months. Just wait it out.

LG Fan, 13 Oct 2017The truth has been spoken. Hahahahahahaha!Well, if you're lucky you could get an LG G6 for as low as US $360 Brand New. Two of them would mean $720, so getting two for $500... you're really saving $220, which is a great deal.
The V30 can only be had for $800, so getting two would normally set you back $1,600. So saving $500, means you end up paying $1,100, which is a good deal.
The V20 deal however is THE BEST DEAL.
Sure it's older, but it's the best phone with a use accessible battery, and still decent specs for 2018. You're getting two of them for $404, if you try to get one it would set you back around $320 each (which is great value), so two would set you back more than $640. So you're saving $236, or around 47% OFF market price!!!

Whoa, a $500 rebate, that's massive indeed.
So they *can* offer good pricing and conditions, if they just want. Sadly, they don't want to at all over here in their home country, Germany. They're the most expensive carrier, by a HUGE margin. Monthly subscription prices for their lines are just ludicrously overpriced. Phone prices are likewise a brutal rip-off.
Example: (this is already a discounted offer!)
S Tariff (1 GB data): 28,75€ ($34) per month, instead of regular 34,95€ ($41) per month. That's *without* any smartphone! Plus 39,95€ ($47) up front as a set up fee.
For the same 1 GB tariff, in case you want to have an at least half-way current phone like the iPhone 7 (non-plus, 32 GB) with it, that's 300€ ($355) up front, more recent phones are still more expensive, plus an increased monthly fee of 48,11€ ($57) instead of regular 54,95€ ($65), plus the 39,95€ ($47) set up fee.
Yes, that's ~$400 up front, $57 monthly (in the beginning, later $65 monthly) for tiny 1 GB, and you only get a measly iPhone 7 (non-plus, 32 GB) for it.
What a bloody rip-off.
