My guess is that it will be a larger screen, bezel-less with a better aspect ratio and perhaps waterproof but the internals remain the same re: Ram and processor.
So up from 5.5 inches to 6.0.
Oh...and they'll bump the price a bit.

Considering the Oneplus 5 was based on the Oppo R11 at least externally I would place money on the Oneplus 5T or whatever it will be named, will be based of the upcoming Oppo F5.

We talk about OnePlus. They cheating in benchmarks. They deny bad manufacturing, but in fact they did wrong. Reverse screen install - it's something out of my understanding. They steal private data and even don't say sorry. They using outdated screen from 3t. They copying not the best but most common iPhone design.
If you will look out of your fandom than you'll see much better phones. Like ZTE Z17 and Honor 9. And they are MUCH cheaper. And looks unique.

Oneplus 3T is the last phone to have OIS camera. Oneplus 5T will not have it, instead it will have the same specs as it's predecessor Oneplus 5 including Snapdragon 835. On last note, Oneplus 5T is just a redesigned Oneplus 5. Nothing to hype about.

Anyone is more interested for amazing cameras, superb display, excellent battery life, amazing software experience & support, with reasonable price; OnePlus 5 tackles *NONE* of them.
-Dual Cameras can they whine, which one of them has OIS? None? End of story, Zenfone 3 of last year has it, why not this one?
--Let's leave the lack of OIS, picture quality isn't something special either. How shameful is it, that the 2-year old Galaxy S6 even beats it apart from the zoom (which I doubt really everyone needs).
-1080p AMOLED it might be, but it tastes so good as well. Yay Jelly while scrolling!
-Dash Charge is the only saving grace of this phone, and even that thing requires the proper charger provided by OnePlus. Okay, so Dash Charge is nice, but not the battery life. Period.
-Stock OS is great for no bs. But support only for 2 years? Come on, this is still flagship regardless of the price, so it should just get what it should have. Oh, and who wants their private info being collected and sent anywhere else anyway?
-OnePlus has lost their sense of being bang for buck with this phone. OP3 and 3T got way better value, but instead of continuing the path with OP5, they went crazy instead. Keeping it to $400 would still make sense, but it's just hard to justify the $500 tag when the proper flagships from more reliable brands like Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony, Huawei, Asus, etc., are all pricing their phones slightly above but offers better value for a long shot.
