Anything tech that Consumer Reports reviews is way off. They should stick with tissues and toilet paper.

CR's list of best performing smartphones, yet another award for Samsung, bravo. And what's all this "sub-par durability and heavy weight from the latest Note" talk?

Well, it is a bit unconventional that they placed the S8 duo at the top spot while the Note 8 at the sixth. Additionally, I just can not re-mention, that it will be better for Samsung (etc.) that from the next S9 (onwards), among obviously other specs (such as SD845, etc., needless to say.) they will correct that horrible uncomfortable fingerprint placement, include the/a QC4+ or Exynos equal to it & the long long long awaited Dual Stereo Speakers, etc. To eventually really deserve the top spot of the best (let's hope & much more).

Samsung is allegedly delaying their foldable device because "the S8 duo is selling well" What? Thats the same as not developing mobile phones, because the landline phones are selling well!! Is there no competition or what? Apple and Sammy are actually partners??

AnonD-27765, 17 Oct 2017It's S7 edge that's on the list not the S7.Wrong; the S7 is 3rd and the S7 Edge is 8th in CR ratings. That's despite the latter scoring only one notch below the former (79 vs 80), but there are a bunch of phones that scored 80 so the S7E is ranked where it is.

Galaxy s8 phones and note8 is best phones of this year, offer anything you need and more than competition, plus best design

Lol at subpar. When the iphone 8's "most durable glass ever in any smartphone" cracks much easier then the note8.
