After all, let's hope the combined smartness of former Nokia execs, mean that they won't follow this crazy trend by selfish manufacturers (HTC, Apple, Moto, Xiaomi, Huawei) of removing the ever-reliable 3.5 mm headphone jack....

Okay it's a quite nice concept, but if the 9 will be for next year (2018), then we just can't be really enthusiastic about it. Definitely don't get me wrong, because by that I just mean that if it will be for next year, then it will be another new circle, and so with all the other next flagships, such as: S9, G7, U12 (or what), Z6P and so on. So it will be a whole new story.

Believe me. HMD is not that stupid to release a smartphone under the NOKIA branding without a headphone jack. This company has just started on helping NOKIA make the comeback, so relax. ;)

Most propable the big thing in the next year, in most flagship phones or 2019 if next year is too soon to this technology to work properly.

If Nokia really wants to play this right. They better not release their flag ship with that fingerprint sensor on the back. Just wait and implement the under screen sensor.
I am not sure how who ever is in charge thinks that releasing a phone late with this year's cpu could compete. Especially that the price of the S8 is unbeatable and it has the same specs, if not better.
They better offer something unique for people to even consider this. I would personally buy this if it had an under screen sensor. Because this s8 bs sensor is anoyying as hell, and I went back to a passcode because of it.
But it looks like this will be released. No competing features.
Samsung and everyone else release phones with underscreen sensors before Nokia. I'll buy a Samsung again, because they will be behind

Anyway, the phone follows this years trends, It will be well made, with decent hardware and on ridiculous price. But in good days of Nokia it was the same - expensive rubbish.

If actual came with edge screen, I'm 100% sure Nokia 9 will be failed series.. Xiaomi & Huawei already ditch edge & go back to flat screen coz they couldn't sale much.. example Xiaomi Mi Note 2 & Huawei Mate 9 Pro Vs Mi Note 3 & Mate 10 Pro..

3.5 mm jack is a deal breaker for me
Samsung, Sony, LG all managed to get IP68 water resistant while keeping the jack, so I'll probably buy there product.

And fps on the back is uncomfortable. Why they do it side as Sony?
And bezels - why must copy Samsung and Apple? Leave top and bottom bezels for front stereo speakers. Why no headphone jack? USB port will lose waterproofing very quick!!!
Not my phone. Sorry Nokia. I'm fan if yours but not blind.
